'Lost in Space' Season 3 Episode 1: Will, Judy and Penny separated in dangerous mission
Netflix series ‘Lost in Space’ has undoubtedly been one of the most enthralling sci-fi shows in recent times and fans have been taking a lot of interest in it. With the show ending with Season 3, it comes as no surprise that the makers wanted to give a befitting end to every character and take viewers on a thrilling ride that would be remembered for a long, long time.
In Season 2 we saw, Robinsons trying everything to reach Alpha Centauri. However, their space endeavor ended in disappointment as they got separated from each other. The Robinson children, along with other 97 children, have now reached an unknown planet where they see the Fortuna, a ship that had vanished nearly twenty years earlier and was commanded by Grant Kelly, Judy's (Taylor Russell) biological father.

Season 3 starts from where we left off the previous season. Will Robinson (Maxwell Jenkins) is trying to fix the spaceship to take everyone out of the unknown planet. However, he needs a lot of titanium to fix the ship rapidly. But it’s not easy to find titanium there because it is dangerous out there and the Robot also feels that they might get in danger if they go deep inside the planet. Everything was going right till the time a big meteoroid starts coming their way and they go into the bunkers. Fortunately, the meteoroid breaks before causing any damage.
The event makes them believe that they need to restart the ship as fast as they can. Judy, who is the captain now, tell everyone that there is a place where they can find titanium in large quantity. But reaching there is dangerous because it is so high that if they go without their suits, they’ll die immediately. But they take the chance and go for it. Judy, Will, Penny (Mina Sundwall), and Vijay (Ajay Friese) climb the rocky mountain to get the titanium.
Only Penny, Will, and Judy reach the top as Vijay gets injured and heads back to the camp. The trio has reached the top and got the titanium they needed. However, strange kinds of bugs start eating the rock formation where they are sitting and it gets really dangerous out there. Will plans something as they try to save themselves from the dangerous situation. The trio uses the atmosphere of the planet to save themselves as they successfully get the titanium to repair the ship.
However, Judy brought some kind of equipment that could help her in finding the Fortuna and meeting her father. At first, Penny is against using it because she feels Judy is abandoning them. However, in the end, Penny tells him to go and search for his father. Judy gets separated from Penny and Will as they reach the camp with all the titanium they needed. Will Judy be able to reach her father? Or some extra-terrestrial being would pose a threat to her? It will be interesting to see how Judy embarks on a journey that will change her life forever.
