'Loot' is a new Apple TV+ comedy from Emmy Award-winning creators Alan Yang ('Little America', 'Master of None') and Matt Hubbard ('30 Rock', 'Parks and Recreation'). The 10-episode workplace comedy is set to debut on June 24.

'Loot' follows Molly Novak who must figure out what to do with her $87 billion divorce settlement after she finds her rich husband cheating on her. She decides to reengage with her charitable foundation and reconnect with the real world, all while finding herself along the way. Maya Rudolph will play Molly Novak in the show. What was Maya Rudolph’s debut film?

Maya Rudolph was born in Gainesville, Florida, to singer-songwriter Minnie Riperton and composer Richard Rudolph. Prior to joining 'Saturday Night Live', Rudolph was a backing singer (1995–99). In May 2000, Rudolph joined the cast of 'Saturday Night Live' as a featured player from the final three episodes of the 1999–2000 season until 2007. She has made several cameo appearances over the years. Since the 45th-season premiere, she has portrayed Vice President Kamala Harris, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.

Her debut film was 'As Good as It Gets,' where she played a small role. Her first prominent film role came in 2006 with 'A Prairie Home Companion'. In 2011, she appeared in 'Bridesmaids' with 'Saturday Night Live' colleague Kristen Wiig. She appeared in the NBC fantasy comedy series 'The Good Place' (2018–2020), for which she received three Primetime Emmy Award nominations. As a voice actress, she has lent her voice to several projects, including 'Shrek the Third' (2007), 'The Nut Job' (2014), 'The Angry Birds Movie' (2016), 'Big Mouth' (2017), and 'Bless the Harts' (2019). She has also appeared in films such as 'Grown Ups' (2010), 'Grown Ups 2' (2013), 'Inherent Vice' (2014), 'Sisters' (2015), and 'Wine Country' (2019).
