‘Live’ host Mark Consuelos has hard time due to unusual guests as he calls for crew members' help mid-segment
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The popular ABC talk show ‘Live with Kelly and Mark’ recently had a few unusual guests on the show which left host Mark Consuelos struggling as he begged a crew member for help during live TV.
In one of the recent ‘Live’ segments, hosts Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa welcomed Bernadette Peters and some unusual guests on the show. It appeared that the unexpected guests were a bunch of adopted dogs that Peters brought along with her. The Broadway star appeared on the show to talk about the charity, Broadway Barks, an animal adoption charity. Peters is the co-founder of Broadway Barks with Mary Tyler Moore and had also written a children's book about a scrappy dog titled, ‘Broadway Barks’.

On Wednesday, June 5 ‘Live’ broadcast, actress Bernadette Peters appeared on ‘Live with Kelly and Mark.' She discussed her work with Broadway Barks and brought some adorable eligible-for-adoption dogs with her on live TV. Mark Consuelos found himself handling a lively pitbull named Olivia, while Peters discussed the dogs. As other dogs jumped onto his lap, Mark struggled to keep Olivia from approaching his wife and co-host, Kelly Ripa. He had to stand up and exert control as Olivia took him for a walk around the set's bench. Mark appeared to be seeking assistance from a crew member to take the dog, and once Olivia was taken by a crew member, he rejoined the segment with Kelly and Peters.
Mark Consuelos return on ‘Riverdale’
Mark Consuelos finds himself juggling his hosting duties and the presence of numerous dogs on the show. However, he has exciting news to share as he announces his return to the scripted television show, ‘Riverdale.’ In a sit-down interview with Deadline, Mark reveals that he will reprise his role as Hiram Lodge, the scheming patriarch. Mark had previously spent five seasons on the show before leaving in 2022 and is making a comeback for one last hurrah in the upcoming seventh season, which will be the final season of the popular teen series. Mark expresses his belief, “I think the fans will be happy with the episode and what Hiram does. It feels like goodbye. It definitely feels like goodbye.”
