If thrillers are your favorite genre, Lifetime Movie Network is a gift that keeps on giving. The Channel aired the first episode of 'Keeping Up With the Joneses' Season 2 on July 8 and the new edition received a decent response from the audience. The event series includes four films that would be air on every Friday.

Vivica A. Fox has been cast in the lead role as the matriarch of a wealthy family who is doing everything she can to protect the family business, accompanied by her four stepdaughters. The next movie in the lineup is 'Keeping Up with the Joneses: The Wrong Murder' and it will be followed by 'Keeping Up with the Joneses: The Wrong Marriage' and 'Keeping Up with the Joneses: The Wrong Inside Man.'

What is the plot of 'Keeping Up with the Joneses: The Wrong Murder'?

Although detailed information has not been revealed, the official synopsis states, "Pam isn't sure about the proper way to handle her daughter Eve; Robin meets with a duplicitous boat owner; all of this pales in comparison to the biggest shock of all: Webb is alive, and whatever he wants, it can't be good for the family."

'Keeping Up with the Joneses: The Wrong Murder' features Vivica A Fox, Ted McGinley, Ciarra Carter, Jasmine Aivaliotis, Arie Thompson, Kandi Burruss, Michael Pare, Marcos James, and Shellie Sterling.

The 57-year-old made her debut with the musical variety television show, 'Soul Train.' She played important roles in soap operas like 'Days of Our Lives' and 'Generations', and the NBC sitcom 'Out All Night.' She gained recognition for her roles in two films – 'Independence Day' and 'Set It Off.' She has also appeared in other films like 'Booty Call', 'Kingdom Come', 'Boat Trip', 'Kill Bill Vol I', and more.

Latest buzz about 'Keeping Up with the Joneses: The Wrong Murder'

Speaking to ET on July 7, Vivica A. Fox stated that the goal of 'Keeping Up with the Joneses' was to bring back the days of 'Dynasty' with some cat fights, fabulous costumes, and fashions. She said,

"I enjoy this, to be honest with you, because I know right now, there's all the rage with the reality TV catfight type of thing. That doesn't work for me, but if you want me to act with the claws coming out, it's on."

Appreciating her relationship with Lifetime and the franchise they created together, Fox said that 'Keeping Up with the Joneses' is about girl power, where she is the executive producer with five ladies in the lead and another lady as the narrator.
