‘LHHATL': Alexis Skyy slammed for story about surviving sex trafficking because she isn't 'dressed like a victim'

Viewers felt her small trench coat and her lack of modesty did not make her story of being a victim of human trafficking sound so credible. Fans felt she didn’t 'carry herself' the way victims would

The latest episode of ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ handled the subject of human trafficking in Atlanta. The highly sensitive topic was handled extremely well in a panel discussion facilitated by Yung Joc and his fiancée Kendra. One of the panelists who shared her gut-wrenching story of surviving human trafficking was none other than Alexis Skyy.

In the episode, Alexis recounted the trauma that she underwent when she was trafficked and also how she escaped from the hands of her traffickers. While most fans commended the star for her bravery and honesty, there were several other fans who felt that Alexis was lying and slammed her for the way she lives her life despite having gone through such trauma.

Alexis is known for her raunchy lifestyle, so it was no different when she attended the panel discussion. She was sporting a small trench-coat and didn’t seem to be wearing anything underneath it. This didn’t sit well with fans who felt that the reality star was dressed inappropriately for the occasion. A fan tweeted, “So this how you come to speak on a human trafficking Story lol brehhhhhh this is fake asf. Oh yea your titty out #LHHATL.”

Several fans felt that Alexis didn’t “carry herself” the way victims of trafficking would. A fan wrote, “I’m sorry not to victim shame but Alexis does not carry herself like a sexual abuse victim. She stay shaking her ass and showing her body. People that go through stuff like that USUALLY don’t act that way #LHHATL.” Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, “It’s so baffling to me that Alexis uses sex to sell her & sex is what caused her trauma. I’m not saying be a nun but damn that wouldn’t be how I pay my bills #LHHATL #LHH.”

“Am I the only one don’t think Alexis story genuine? #LHHATL,” questioned a fan.

“Now Alexis sky was trafficked I’m sorry I don’t belwive her. But im@glad however whatever it comes to the forefront  #LHHATL,” expressed another fan. One fan called out the producer Mona Scott Young, with, “#LHHATL @MonaScottYoung should be ashamed of herself for @alexisskyyyyyy story line, There are real woman being sold into sex trafficking, real woman that don’t have a voice so to see a woman who’s claim to fame is sleeping with a rapper and fighting with a woman over him 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️.”
