Who is the founder of Krapp Strapp?

Keith Lindsey and Robert Legg are the founders of Krapp Strapp. Both of them are co-owners of Air Boss Motion Decoys, a Texas-based business that sells hunting decoys as well as gear. Before starting Air Boss, Lindsey was in product development and was looking for some lost cows in the woods when he felt he needed to poo. Now, at the age of 63, his knees cannot bend like they used to. He thought about a position for relief in a lightweight package and that's when Krapp Strapp entered the picture.

While having a chat with KLTV, Lindsey said, “It will just be an attention-getter, a novelty thing that would point more business to our decoy business."

During the interview, Lindsey revealed that he had posted a photo of the strap on social media on a Friday before July 4, in 2022.

Legg went on to say, “By Tuesday morning, it had been viewed by, I think, 1.25 million people." Soon after, their strap garnered the attention of the people and they started getting orders in their kitty.

He further added, “We’re not in any retail stores. We’re here in Jacksonville. We manufacture it. We ship it." He even mentioned that their customers are very satisfied. He continued, “Everybody that goes into the woods, at one time or another, goes in the woods."

Keith explained that the strap goes around the tree and then around the user’s hips. Lindsey added, “It totally supports your entire weight." As per the duo, the strap can support up to 400 pounds.

He added, “It has pockets in it for your hand wipes, your toiletries, your germicidal. It goes back in its bag, goes back in your backpack and you’re on to continue your time in the outdoors." He also stated that the strap can keep the user above dangers like “spiders and insects and scorpions.”

What is the cost and how to buy Krapp Strapp?

Robert and Keith's best-selling product is called The Krapp Strapp. The duo started selling their product in mid-2021 and since then, the product has taken over the market.

Krapp Strapp comes in a waterproof bag and it costs $49.95.

You can buy Krapp Strapp from the official website of Air Boss Motion Decoys. Apart from this, you can also purchase the strap from Amazon.

The product has received rave reviews on Amazon. A user named Jesse James shared, "This is a great product, well made, and an awesome idea. I'd like not to have quite as much crap knocked out of me at checkout for it, if I could help it. I think a little damage control in that department could get it 5 stars."

A customer named Hope commented, "My brother and his friends all hunt, so I got this as a gag gift to make them laugh, but I know at least one will try it. It seems like it would easily support a lot of weight, with a secure knot to tie off to the carabiner. The straps seem to short for the average diameter of a tree vs. hunter."

Customer Amber Gronlund wrote, "I bought this as a fun little gift for my hunting husband. He thought it was great and is looking forward to using it this fall! If it malfunctions (yikes), I’ll update my review. For now, this was a great find!"

At the time of writing, the official Instagram page of Air Boss Motion Decoys has around 1.8k followers and numbers will increase after Keith and Robert's appearance on ABC's show 'Shark Tank.'
