Who stars in 'Kings of Mulberry Street: Let Love Reign'?
Aaqil Hoosen
Made his debut with 'Kings of Mulberry Street', Aaqil Hoosen reprises his role as the loveable and energetic brat of Mulberry Street. Hoosen plays the role of Ticky Chetty, the eldest son of his house. When first introduced, Ticky runs through the roofs of the house and is a person with the most energetic quality. "Don't think. Just Jump" is the philosophy of Ticky. An ardent lover of Bollywood movies, Ticky helped the new, shy neighbour Harold Singh (Baboo) to find his inner hero. Ticky was pivotal in saving the neighbourhood from the bully in the first movie. And while noting his character in the movie, Hoosen has revealed that apart from the love we share for our family, there is nothing in common between himself and Ticky. Flash forward to 'Kings of Mulberry Street: Let Love Reign', the charm of Ticky is doubled and is going full-on Bollywood. And now, Ticky is gearing up for a heist chapter with his pals in the upcoming movie.
Shaan Nathoo
Also a 'Kings of Mulberry Street' debutant, Nathoo reprises his role as Harold Singh (Baboo). Baboo is a shy and calm person with OCD, who moves into Ticky's neighbourhood. After his bicycle is taken by the local bully, Baboo learns to become a hero in his own right and becomes a superhero partner to Ticky. Baboo's character can be described as a loveable one. And in 'Kings of Mulberry Street: Let Love Reign', Baboo has seen growth in his character. He is grown out of his shyness and is more confident now. Baboo now has a stronger bond with his community, which he had not before. Baboo is now gearing up for his next adventure and he is in love with Leila now.
Kimberly Arthur
Kimberly Arthur also reprises her role as Leila in 'Kings of Mulberry Street: Let Love Reign'. An absolute diva and a bully, Leila is not a person to play around with. Leila has always confirmed her assertiveness to her, which has given an edge to her character. This exemplary confidence of hers has always been a great key to showing her leadership skills in her time of need. And as the trailer suggests, Leila most definitely breaks Baboo's heart.
Hamish Kyd
Hamish Kyd is the new addition to the Mulberry Street world. Kyd is known for his roles in movies like 'Hole in the Wall' and '31 Million Reasons'. And in the upcoming sequel, Kyd is set to play the comical villain role named Veerasamy. Veerasamy is a disgraced cop, who has been fired because of an older woman. Now working as a security, Veerasamy plans his revenge by kidnapping the old lady and making her steal a necklace.
Riyaad Nakooda
Riyaad Nakooda is also a new addition to the Mulberry Street world and he takes up the role of Marlon. Marlon works as a security guard with Verasamy and goes along with his plans. Marlon is unintentionally funny and loves to dance. He is oftentimes clumsy as well. And due to his friendship with Veerasamy, he is entangled in the kidnap plan as well.
'Kings of Mulberry Street: Let Love Reign' is releasing exclusively on Netflix from April 7, 2023.
