LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes' was released in theatres on May 10, 2024, and it has generated quite the buzz for its visuals and storytelling. The film follows the journey of a new protagonist Noa (Owen Teague), a young ape who goes up against all odds to protect his family and clan.

The movie is directed by Wes Ball and is based 300 years after the death of Caesar. 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes' uses Caesar's teachings and virtues as a learning curve for Noa who learns an important lesson in co-existence as he goes up against the antagonist Proximus Caesar (Kevin Durand).

While on his journey, he meets a friendly orangutan Raka (Peter Macon), and a human Mae (Freya Allan) who has her agenda in the film. She retrieves a device that looks like a modem from Proximus Caesar's vault before flooding it at the end. What does the modem mean to her? Does Noa defeat Proximus Caesar? Here we explain the end of 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes'.

Noa kills Proximus Caesar with the help of eagles

Proximus Caesar dominates Noa in the final confrontation and all seems lost for Noa as he goes up against a vengeful Proximus. This is when the eagles start surrounding the scene.

Noa begins to start the eagle clan chant which in a way connects the apes and eagles. The eagles surround Proximus and drive him off a cliff giving the victory to Noa.

Noa and his clan return to work towards building their establishment again.

Noa and Mae meet for the final time

Noa and Mae meet but Mae does not trust Noa and carries a gun when she meets him. They have a discussion where Mae tells Noa about the control that humans had over the world before the Simian Flu Virus.

Noa gives the locket that Raka gave him to Mae and asks her if she thinks humans and apes can co-exist. She says she doesn't know. Noa and Soona ride off to a human settlement where they discover a space observatory.

The modem helps humans connect to their kind through satellite

Mae returns to an underground human settlement where humans who are still afraid of the virus and keep Mae away from the settlement use the modem to establish satellite communication with other humans on the planet.

Noa also discovers the satellite and the potential threat it could cause. This sets up a potential sequel as the humans who have communicated with each other may now once again prepare to wage war against the apes.
