'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' season 17 addresses Kim’s Lupus scare, rumors of Kris Jenner's affair with OJ Simpson and more
America's reality royalty family The Kardashians are back with season 17 of their highly successful show - 'Keeping up with Kardashians'. The show which airs on E! Network has been dropping some exclusive clips and teasers for the upcoming season since last month. Ahead of its premiere on Sunday night (September 8), the network dropped an exclusive super-teaser which had us all both intrigued and excited about the upcoming show.
The teaser showed Kim at her doctor's appointment getting tested for lupus, as she reveals to the doctor, "I feel this in my bones. I probably have lupus". Momager Kris is shown comforting a crying Kim by asking her to wait until the results are out and to stay positive. Lupus is a systemic autoimmune disease that occurs when your body's immune system attacks your own tissues and organs. Several celebrities have come out in recent past to share their struggles with battling the deadly disease- such as Selena Gomez, who has been very vocal about her treatment and has also created major awareness about it. We hope that Kim's test results are negative and our favorite selfie-queen is healthy and happy.
The upcoming season appears to be showing a lot of health concerns as we get to witness the matriarch Kris Jenner being rushed to the hospital by the EMTs. Although the exact details of what happened to Kris is not known, she is seen in a neck brace. While we're on the topic of Kris, the clip also shows a disappointed Kris talking about the rumors which have surfaced all over again about her sleeping with O.J. Simpson. She looks hurt and upset by the rumors. Kris's late ex-husband Rob Kardashian was the part of the infamous former footballer's defense team when Simpson was charged with murdering his wife- Nicole Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. The Kardashians and Simpsons have been very tight, and the rumors of Kris and O.J. having had an affair has resurfaced time and again.
The Kardashians have been through a lot while filming the season. We finally get to see how Khloe felt when she saw her cheating partner Tristan Thompson show up at their daughter True's birthday party. The eldest Kardashian sister- Kourtney appears to be having a drama of her own, as she narrates that everybody is "so in my business". Her sister Kim doesn't seem to appreciate it, as she is seen angrily telling her off. Kim is seen saying that Kourtney should be out, as she "doesn't want to work, and has too many f***ing boundaries". This isn't the first time the sisters are seen having an issue with Kourtney's style of working. In several earlier seasons, we saw the sisters having heated arguments over it. But this time around, it appears to be different as we see an angry Kourtney telling Khloe that "she can't wait to move away". While Khloe is usually on Kourt's side and always tries to reason with her and work out the differences, this time KoKo seems to have had enough as she snaps back with, "So, just do it already".
