‘Keeping Up With the Joneses: The Wrong Inside Man’ Review: Family sticks together to ward off enemies
Lifetime Movie Network is always known for bringing unique and impactful stories for its viewers. The final instalment to popular limited mini-series ‘Keeping Up With the Joneses’ has made its comeback on screens. In this episode, we see that matriarch of Jones family, Robin Jones (Vivica Fox), has been threatened by a mysterious woman via a video call.
Jones family has been told to pay a ransom amount worth $10 million as that woman has Tara (Jasmine Aivalotis) kidnapped and kept her as a hostage. She also gave Jones family a warning that if they didn’t pay her the money and try to act smart, then they’d lose Tara. This petrifies all the Jones sisters wherein Carrie (Ciarra Carter), Kayla (Shellie Sterling) and Pam (Arie Thompson) are feeling scared for their youngest sister Tara (Jasmine Aivalotis).

Jones family pays the ransom and Tara arrives home next day much to the relief of mom Robin and her sisters. She tells them that she wasn’t harmed in any way but there was one other accomplice whom she couldn't identify. Whenever that person came, Tara would be blindfolded and given noise canceling headphones so that she doesn’t see or hear their conversation.
Meanwhile, Kayla gives her fiancé, William (Marcos James), another chance but he ends up revealing his true colors to her. William tried creating a rift in between Kayla and her sisters so that he could get her share of money and property. He even claims that he and Pam had been intimate a long time back and this makes her so furious that she lashes out at Pam and stops talking to her but next day she realizes the truth and breaks up with him.
Entire Jones family is seen celebrating with champagne thinking they’ve removed all their enemies. Robin even after all this gets a hunch that something is amiss. This only deepens her suspicions on Sheldon's (Michael Pare) loyalty to their family. Her doubt turns out to be true as she realizes that he was the accomplice involved in kidnapping Tara and the mastermind behind all the recent dramas and mishaps surrounding their family. Sheldon tries to threaten Robin and is about to kill her when Pam suddenly comes out of nowhere and attacks him badly making him bleed a lot.
Overall, the most intriguing aspect was the excitement of revealing the traitor from inside their close-knit family who had a hand in this heinous crime. The multi-layered performances by the entire cast and the gritty riveting storyline made this series an interesting watch. It has the right amount of family bonding, drama, love, deceit, betrayal, thrill, and mystery coupled with an excellent direction that makes this one an enthralling affair.
