Kayla Sessler, a popular teen mom, known for 'Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant' has been accused and criticized on social media after sharing a video on Instagram. The video involves her putting on a tanning mousse cream onto her arm, titled "Self-tanning routine".

For obvious reasons, the video triggered fans, who accused her of trying really hard to seem like she is of a different race. Let's keep in mind that this isn't the first time she has done something of this sort. Kayla has gone through similar criticism on several other occasions as well.

Fans are accusing Kayla Sessler of blackfishing. In the video that she posted on her Instagram feed, Kayla can be seen using a tanning mousse that's obviously several shades darker for her skin tone and natural complexion.

She takes a quick look at her natural arm, shakes her finger in disapproval, and proceeds to market the mousse, whilst also applying the product onto her hand. Almost immediately, her skin begins to look a lot darker in color, courtesy of the tanning mousse. Commenting on her self-tanning video that was posted on Instagram, one fan said, "Trying hard. Huh", while another commented, "White girls wanna be tan. Damn these comments". "Please...this product needs to be banned everywhere", while another commented, "How is this even ok oh wait it's not," another fan said.

A user comment said, "y'all funny we all know y'all lying to her like it's legit black fishing," while another comment read, "I'm confused at how y'all degraded & literally killed African Americans, for the color of our God given majestic features, & then tan to be darker. Just to be like us! Make it make sense please".

What's ironic is that Kayla has been accused of blackfishing since 2021. In August 2021, she was accused of trying to look like a Black woman in a selfie that she shared, making her appear several shades darker than she really is.

In September of the same year, she once again gained criticism as she posted a video of herself online, whilst looking a lot tanner than she usually does. Kayla looked almost unrecognizable to users that some thought she either got a racial transplant, that she identified herself as black, or that she just really wants to be black. Those pics of hers went viral on Reddit and fans constantly questioned her intentions and accused her of blackfishing and cultural appropriation yet again.
