'Katy Keene' Episode 3 Preview: Katy tries to make Valentine's Day special for KO to hide her true feelings
'Katy Keene' is well underway. The slice-of-life teen drama debuted to a healthy rating on February 6 and has been praised for its tone and crisp writing. The previous episode, 'You Can't Hurry Love' spoke volumes about Katy's (Lucy Hale) maturity.
Here's a quick recap of what happened to the other characters: Josie McCoy (Ashleigh Murray) lands a job at a record store but already has a challenge in her hands in the form of Alexandra Cabot (Camille Hyde).
Pepper Smith is an interesting character and we can surely hope there's more in store. Ginger (Jonny Beauchamp) follows his heart and that's a message to take away for those invested heavily into the show.
Ahead of the third episode, 'Chapter Three: What Becomes of the Broken Hearted', The CW has released the synopsis:
"BROKEN HEARTS – With everything a little off between Katy (Lucy Hale) and KO (Zane Holtz), Katy tries to make everything perfect for Valentine's Day, so she can avoid what she is truly feeling including lying to him about Gloria (Katherine LaNasa) making her work."
From the synopsis, it's pretty evident the post-Valentine's Day-themed episode will revolve heavily around Katy and KO. Hopefully, the episode sheds more light on Pepper (Julia Chan). It's also interesting to see what's in store for Josie after her encounter with Alexandra.
