Ever looked at a couple and just wondered... 'How? How did they meet? How do they manage to get along? How do they make it work? How are they still together?' If that's a sentiment you often feel while watching '90 Day Fiancé', then we understand completely. The show is notorious for featuring couples that have absolutely nothing in common, apart from the fact that they have to get married within 90 days.

Over the past eight seasons, we've seen multiple relationships crash and burn. But it's not all doom and gloom, seeing that some couples actually make it out of their season happy, in love and even go on to start families. But if reality TV has taught us anything, it's that nothing is as it seems.

'90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?' Season 6: Live stream, release date, cast, trailer and all you need to know about TLC spinoff

With '90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?' Season 6 coming up, fans get to see what their favorite couples have been up to, after the 90-day process. Returning this season are Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa. The couple is known to have hit multiple roadblocks over the years when it came to making their relationship work, and looks like this season is no different.

Who are Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa?

Raised as a Mormon, Faagata met Pulaa when she was on vacation with her family in Samoa as Faagata's father is Samoan. Pulaa was the activities manager at the resort they were staying at and the pair quickly fell for each other. Faagata lost her virginity to Pulaa, only to end up pregnant with the couple's first child, Oliver.

Seeing that they were determined to make it work, Pulaa came to the USA on a K1 visa. Faagata's family was not very keen on the two getting married but reluctantly supported the union as that they understood that Oliver should have his father around. One of the shocking moments for viewers was that Faagata was pregnant again, just within 15 months of the first pregnancy. The couple had their second son, Kennedy, shortly after.

Pulaa, however, has not found it easy in the USA as he struggled to get a job and support his family. With Faagata being a stay-at-home mom and piling expenses, the two found it extremely hard to make ends meet and often relied on Faagata's father to help them with the same. Pulaa not taking his role as a father seriously often put him at odds with Faagata's father, Low, and sister, Kolini, as well as with fans.

What happened between them during Season 5 of '90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?'

In season 5, fans saw the couple bicker endlessly with regard to money. Pulaa was expected to send money back home even though he didn't have much to support his family. The issue went from bad to worse when he and Faagata met his mother and sister, Tammy. Pulaa's mother outright demanded money from the pair, saying that it was his duty as a son and a Samoan.

Tammy also insisted that he pull his weight, but refrained to answer Faagata when she asked about how much money she gives back to the family. The issue escalated when Faagata went to meet her mother-in-law and sister-in-law, in hope of reconciliation. However, a massive fight broke out, with her in-laws demanding the pair get divorced. Tammy even tried to physically fight Faagata, who chose to walk away from the situation.

Season 6 brings back more unresolved issues, seeing that Faagata's in-laws are suggesting that the couple plan baby number three, something that Faagata has no intention of currently getting into. Another explosive fight breaks out with Tammy having to be restrained yet again.

What is their net worth?

Money issues seem to be the constant source of woes for Faagata and Pulaa. Interestingly, The Richest has reported their net worth to be somewhere between $1 to 3 million. Seeing that they've been a part of the original '90 Day' franchise plus multiple spin-offs and generate income from social media brand deals, it's safe to say that they're definitely doing pretty okay for themselves.
