NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA: In Season 7 of 'Queer Eye', the Fab Five encountered Lambda Chi Alpha at the University of New Orleans, a fraternity that, according to one of its members, "no one knows even exists." Despite the fact that the episode moved practically every viewer to tears, one specific transformation did not go down well with the audience.

The first episode began with Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk, and Jonathan Van Ness, the five experts, prepared to refurbish a Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity home and offer the lads a switch. They saw how untidy and disorganized the house seemed throughout their stay. From unclean dishes to filthy restrooms, the five of them were candid with the lads. After much deliberation, each of the pros began their task.

'The facial hair has to go'

When they arrived at 2 pm, all the current members — Josh J, Ryan, Ian, Josh A, Marco, Demario, and Cooper — were still sleeping, and the 'Queer Eye' cast quipped that the home was full of "lost boys," who were sleeping in every "dirty crevice" they could find before waking them up.

The frat guys talked about how the fundraising money will be used for brotherhood getaways and philanthropic initiatives. They ultimately cleaned up, learned how to cook a muffuletta sandwich with Antoni, and have a heart-to-heart with Karamo, during which Demario discussed his personal and financial difficulties.

Jonathan stepped in and gave all the lads a fantastic makeover with the help of his salon pros. Josh A, one of the frat brothers, was first hesitant to part with his cherished mustache, despite the fact that there was no clear need to trim his lengthy hair. He didn't resist when Jonathan persuaded him that the alteration was necessary to ensure he looked well-groomed and prepared for the fundraiser.

'WHAT HAVE YOU DONE'

Even though Jonathan's transformations have always been a hit amongst fans, some weren't happy with the transformation he did on Josh A. One viewer tweeted, "I *love* JVN but I don’t know if I can forgive him for chopping off ALL of this man’s hair." Another questioned, "The 'tache...No! His hair, however, was nearing Sam Ryder levels of beauty. Why cut it? Side note: stop making me cry boys." One sad fan questioned, "i’m watching the new season of queer eye… WHY DID JONATHAN CUT ALL OF THAT BOY’S BEAUTIFUL HAIR?!?!?" A fourth user tweeted, "QUEER EYE??????? WHAT HAPPENED???????? MY BRO WAS LOOKING SO GOOD WHAT HAVE YOU DONE."

A fan tweeted, "I can understand getting rid of the mustache, but I feel like JOHNATHAN of all people would understand that you can still look masculine with long hair WHY DIDNT HE JUST GIVE THE BOY SOME GODDAMN LAYERS." On the other hand, some felt, it was the mustache that needed to go but not the hair, "Dude it's literally the opposite way around. Nobody needed that moustache." One user tweeted, "This is the only time I ever disagreed with Jonny." Another sad fan tweeted, "I miss his lovely hair."
