John Legend to replace Jennifer Hudson in season 16 of 'The Voice'
'The Voice' is getting a new coach for season 16. NBC just announced that the newly minted EGOT winner John Legend is set to join the reality show as the new coach for the season coming next year. He will be replacing award-winning singer Jenifer Hudson, who we'll be seeing in the forthcoming season 15, premiering September, 24.
“John Legend is a one-of-a-kind musician and producer with remarkable skills that are beyond measure,” said Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Reality Group, NBC Entertainment. “His multi-dimensional career and incredible talents provide a repertoire that will excite and inspire our artists. This coaching panel is sure to ignite season 16.”
