It was another bad night for Brad Rutter on 'Jeopardy! Greatest Of All Time', as the night ended in embarrassment for the longtime 'Jeopardy!' contestant as he could not compete in the Final Jeopardy round of the second match, after finishing it in the red.

Brad Rutter is the highest-earning American game show contestant of all time and the highest-earning contestant on 'Jeopardy!'. Rutter has total earnings of over $4.8 million from his wins on 'Jeopardy!'.

With Rutter's history on the show — as his montage replayed them on Wednesday night's episode — many fans were favoring Rutter to win the tournament. While his performance on the first night was unsatisfactory, it is his performance on the second night that has truly disappointed them.

One fan wrote, "Poor Brad, he Buffalo Billed his way into this Jeopardy tournament of champions, now all of his answers are wide right. He truly is the Jim Kelly of this show. The most likable guy in the tournament, but overwhelmed by the competition."

Another fan tweeted, "I agree. Before this, I thought Brad would be a front runner. Jeopardy has thrown every single challenge they’ve had at him, and he’s only been stopped by a supercomputer. I had him winning in six. But right now, I just hope he wins one match and evens it up. #JeopardyGOAT."

However, fans are rooting for Rutter to make a big comeback to win three matches and therefore secure yet another tournament. One fan wrote, "Jeopardy prediction: Brad is going to go on a tear and win either tomorrow or Friday." Another fan tweeted, "Brad Rutter is really trying his best in jeopardy and my entire family is here to say that you can do it tomorrow #Jeopardy #JeopardyGOAT."

However, no matter the outcome, fans are consoling themselves by remembering that Rutter is the most successful contestant in the show's history. One fan tweeted, "Brad has just landed in some bad luck. But he’s got all that cash so who cares. Still pulling for him. #JeopardyGOAT."

The next episode of 'Jeopardy! Greatest Of All Time' will air on ABC on Thursday, January 9, at 8/7c.
