LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Warner Bros Discovery HQ has seen a drastic change of winds after David Zaslav was appointed CEO. From Henry Cavill being dropped as Superman to the discontinuation of many DC superhero shows, a lot has been brewing at the company. And Flash, one of our favorite superheroes, might not be entirely immune from the chaos either.

With Ezra Miller's ongoing legal problems signaling trouble, Warner Bros has taken its sweet time trying to figure out what to do with the film. David Zaslav has since hired James Gunn and Peter Safran as the new co-CEOs of DC Studios, after which it was revealed that 'The Flash' would get confirmed for a release later this year.

Ezra Miller may continue as 'The Flash' in the new DC Universe

Meanwhile, CW is soon expected to wrap the show's final season before the movie is released. The new release is sure to ignite many a heated debate as to who is the best Scarlet Speedster. Showrunner Eric Wallace, who wrote for the fourth and fifth seasons of the show, has already offered his opinion on the impending debate. In a new interview with TV Line, Wallace revealed that Grant Gustin is his favorite Flash.

'Grant was my Flash,' says writer

"I do believe there's a world for all things Flash — Elseworlds, TV, movie… whatever. I just love the character so much. Grant [Gustin] will always be the Flash for a certain generation in the same way that for my generation Christopher Reeve was Superman," Wallace said. "That doesn't mean I'm not excited to see Michael B. Jordan play a Black Superman — I can't wait for that — or for the other Supermans, like Henry Cavill or Brandon Routh. I love them all, but I grew up with Christopher Reeve. So there's a whole group of folks who are going to grow up saying, 'Grant was my Flash.' But then there'll be a new generation of folks that say, 'Ezra Miller, they are my Flash, too," he added.

'Won't be watching that sh*t,' fans say

While some fans expect 'The Flash' to be replaced altogether by the upcoming movie, some are furious and have claimed they won't watch anything with Miller in it. "For the record, when the #Flash movie finally releases, I wont be watching that shit. Flash is one of my all time favorite heroes, but that idiot Ezra Miller became such a diva off screen, walking around like he's a God? Not supporting anything that clown does," a fan fumed on Twitter.

Meanwhile, some are questioning the magnitude of James Gunn's words. One wrote, "The way Gunn is hyping up #Flash - that movie better be f*cking good otherwise I am never listening to a thing that man says lol Ezra is on his death bed with that movie, he either survives..."

"I think Ezra Miller is a heinous individual, in desperate need of both accountability & help. Having said that, just because the head of #DCStudios voices nigh obligatory support for an upcoming #Flash movie, doesn't mean he's supporting Ezra. Many people work on these movies," chimed in another.
