LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Mary Fitzgerald is opening up about her septic miscarriage.

During a recent interview with E! News, the 'Selling Sunset' star shared that she had a miscarriage at seven months. She also mentioned her commitment, along with her husband Romain Bonnet, to continue their efforts to have a child.

The reality TV star told the media outlet, "It took a lot longer than I anticipated to just process and heal both emotionally and physically because it was a septic miscarriage."

She further added, "But I'm better now. We're good, made us stronger."

The 43-year-old also mentioned that the doctors "found some other physical issues that might make it even harder" to conceive. She stated that the pair is not in a hurry to expand their family.

Mary continued, "I need to go in from more testing to figure out if IVF gonna be the right decision  or if we try naturally, are there going to be possibilities that it'll take?"

The real estate agent also mentioned that she's also open to the idea of a surrogate and went on to say, "If that's our last resort. That could be possible, too."

During Season 7 of the show 'Selling Sunset,' Fitzgerald took a break from her work to heal.

She feels like the recent episodes are "pretty painful" to watch for her. She wanted to share her story with the world to help others who may be in the same situation.

Mary said, "It's so common for this to happen to people and it wouldn't be right just to keep it to myself. From experience, when I talk to other people who have been through it, it heals, it helps, and makes it feel just more normal."
