ISAC 2022: Mini IZ*ONE reunion with 5 members has fans saying ‘will support them forever’

Leader Eunbi, Yena and Yuri came as soloists while Ahn Yujin and Wonyoung represented their new group IVE

While most of the IZ*ONE members are now active as soloists or part of other groups, fans had never given up hope of a reunion. In fact, their loyalty was evident with them collecting more than $2.6 million for a redebut or reunion that unfortunately fell through. But that hasn’t dampened spirits. We got Ahn Yujin and Wonyoung redebuting in IVE while Chaewon and Sakura joined Le Sserafim. We also had members like Eunbi, Yena, Yuri making their solo debut which meant they could participate in ISAC 2022 as soloists.

ISAC 2022 aka K-pop’s sports day has all of the major K-pop groups and soloists participating in sports events. This often leads to several interactions from Purple Kiss’ Dosie and ONEUS’ Hwanwoong playing around to the reunion of besties Stray Kids’ Changbin and Ateez’s Wooyoung. Many were also surprised by extroverted Shotaro of NCT as he hung out with The Boyz’s Juyeon, Ateez’s Hongjoong and Stray Kids’ Han. Well, we also got five members of IZ*ONE reuniting.

Five IZ*ONE members attend ISAC 2022

Former leader Kwon Eunbi, Choi Yena and Jo Yuri joined ISAC 2022 as soloists. We also had former members Ahn Yujin and Wonyoung coming to the K-pop sports day as part of IVE. We got tons of moments of Yena, Yuri and Eunbi hanging out in the soloists section as they waved to their fans. Yena and Wonyoung were also seen playing with their name tags while Yujin patted her. The soloists were also against IVE for the women’s archery preliminary round with the soloists winning.

‘They did this for me’

Fans present at ISAC 2022 took to sharing moments and fancams of the girls together. One WIZ*ONE tweeted, “Eunbi, yena, and yuri together at isac!! so happy seeing our soloists together.” Another shared, “Small IZ*ONE reunion ❤️I will support them forever 😭3 successful soloists.” One fan joked, “Wonyoung: yena unnie where's your group name? yena: IZ*ONE.” Another commented, “Yena meeting her IZ*ONE maknaes 😭 Just look at how comfortable Yujin & Wonyoung are with their Yena unnie.” One fan wrote, “The izone grip on my neck gets tighter every time an izone interaction happens and i couldnt be any happier.”

Another WIZ*ONE said, “Izone interactions i guess.” One made a meme, “Yena, yuri, and eunbi introducing themselves to ive babies in isac:.” Another fan commented, “My bias line they did this for me.” One fan was surprised, “It’s sort of crazy to realize that there’s almost half of izone together at isac right now,” Another shared, “Yuri and yujin telling the izone groupchat about yena's missed target.” One wrote, “First Nako & Hitomi, then Hiichan posting Hyewon & Chaewon, now our kart rider stars Eunbi Yena and Yuri at ISAC (Yulyen archery team???)🥰GET IN HERE WIZONES, WE'RE EATING GOOD TODAY!!”
