Is Rosalia in 'Euphoria' Season 3? Spanish singer adds suspense to teen drama with bedazzled neck brace
Rosalia finally made her highly anticipated debut in 'Euphoria.' The second episode saw her starring as a stripper named Magick working in Alamo's Silver Slipper. Fans were intrigued when they saw the singer pole dancing with a sparkly neck brace in the trailer. The episode revealed that Magick is wearing the bedazzled neck brace because she is involved in a legal conflict. The neck brace is deemed a "certified boner killer" by her boss, Big Eddy (Kadeem Hardison), but the stripper still insists on wearing it. She then speaks in Spanish and mentions a private detective, adding to the curiosity surrounding her character. Season 3 will continue to reveal aspects of her life as the show progresses.
The pop star shed light on playing Magick and spoke about how difficult it was to shoot with the neck brace. "At the beginning, when I was shooting with it, I was a little bit annoyed," Rosalia said to Elle. "So I had to learn how to love it and live with it. And that was also a learning experience to me in so many ways. It was very, very beautiful and an amazing learning experience." Natasha Newman-Thomas, the costume designer, put a lot of thought into the neck brace, according to The Fader. The storyline always required the tool, and considering where Magick worked, the designer decided to ensure the prop aligned with the aesthetic of the strip club. "We wanted it to straddle the line of burlesque and Western, while having contemporary items to feel more suspended in time," Thomas explained.

Rosalia shared that she remained "fluid" and "open" throughout the process, as per Elle. Her participation was announced in February 2025 by the show's official handles. "I put myself in service of somebody else’s vision, because I love Sam [Levinson]’s work so much that it’s worth it to me," she shared. It seems that Levinson was also impressed by her efforts. "She’s a great character. Funny, tough, emotional. I also love her accent. She was perfect for the part,” the creator shared with Vogue.
The audience will likely see more of Magick in Season 3, as Rue and Alamo's business relationship remains at the forefront of the upcoming episodes. Furthermore, the dance Magick is performing in the trailer has not appeared in the show as of this writing, meaning it will be a key moment later in the season. 'Euphoria' returns with a new episode next Sunday on HBO and HBO Max.
