Spanish singer Rosalia has added another trophy to her collection.

Hosted by Alicia Keys, the 62nd annual Grammy Awards honored prominent artists in the music industry at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Celebrating music's biggest night, the award ceremony includes a line up of star-studded performances by Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Demi Lovato and many more.

This year, following in the footsteps of last year's winner Zoe, Spanish singer Rosalia bagged the award for the Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album. This award category was first initiated in 1998 and it was temporarily discontinued in 2012 because there was an overhaul of categories. However, it was brought back in 2013.

This marks her first Grammy Award. She is also nominated for the category Best New Artist. With a tough line of competition, Rosalia's 'El Mal Querer' managed to beat other nominees that included 'X 100Pre' by Bad Bunny, 'Oasis' by J Balvin & Bad Bunny, 'Indestructible' by Flor De Toloache, and 'Almadura' by iLe.

Accepting the award, Rosalia shared, "It's such an honor to receive this award. That means so much to me." Rosalia will also be taking center stage for a debut performance during the Grammy Awards. Rosalia has won several awards at the Latin Grammys and has around 11 nominations in the Latin Grammys.

Rosalia rose to fame after she collaborated with famed artists that include Travis Scott, J Balvin, Pharrell Williams, and James Blake. In March, Rosalia also embarked on her very first World Tour - the El Mal Querer Tour in support of her second studio album.
