The landmark season of ‘Survivor’ is set to be graced with another celebrity’s presence. Jimmy Donaldson, aka Mr. Beast, is set to follow the footsteps of country singer Zac Brown, who appeared in the fourth episode of the reality show’s 50th season. His presence was confirmed by his appearance in the show’s preview. Recently, he joined ‘Rob Has a Podcast’ and revealed details about his part in the show. Brown’s appearance in the show was not received warmly by fans, who complained that the show focused more on the singer than the contestants. Seeing the divisive reactions, Mr. Beast requested the audience to keep an “open mind” regarding his upcoming appearance.

Mr. Beast appeared in the April 6, 2026, episode of the podcast, where he discussed the changes he incorporated in his own show, ‘Beast Games.’ He has a deep conversation with host ‘Survivor’ alum Rob Cesternino about how he deals with criticism towards his shows and how he always tries to take positive feedback from them, rather than get disheartened. The YouTuber is hopeful that his positive attitude will improve the series he hosts on Prime Video. The conversation turned to his upcoming appearance in 'Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans,' and he shared how he is both nervous and excited for fans to see what transpired on the island. "I know — you're not a fan of us cameos. You don't like us. But trust me, ours isn't just some silly cameo. You'll like it," he said, speaking to the camera.

Mr. Beast did not reveal specific details of his appearance to Cesternino, as he was, in his words, "under a lot of NDAs." But he promised that it was not about him at all and put the game in the spotlight. Previously on social media, he asserted that his stint on ‘Survivor’ might be the "favorite content I’ve ever filmed." During the preview, Mr. Beast is shown spearheading something like the ‘Survivor’ auction. The event has long been a staple of the show, where players bid money for advantages or food. It seems, though, that Mr. Beast would not just be there to distribute the prizes; he may bring a twist that changes the game's landscape.

Mr. Beast's appearance in 'Survivor' comes after Jeff Probst appeared in the second season of 'Beast Games.' In that episode, the contestants participated in a hybrid challenge course that blended 'Beast Games'' innovation with 'Survivor's' groundbreaking format. Mr. Beast shared in the podcast that he tried to learn from Probst, who has been doing the hosting gig much longer than he has. The YouTuber hopes that the lessons will help him improve his skills. Another celebrity that was teased in the preview was Jimmy Fallon. However, fans do not know when these two celebrities will appear in the season. 'Survivor' continues to air every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
