However, the engagement was called off soon. Later, Lil Scrappy aka Darryl Richardson started dating Bambi but their relationship was also not long-lived.
Scrappy's mother Deborah Bryant aka Momma Dee seems to be the reason for Scrappy's failed relationships. The recently released sneak peek of the upcoming new season of MTV's show claims that Momma Dee and Lil Scrappy are about to land in a fight over Scrappy's love life.

It seems so! In the released sneak peek of the upcoming season of 'LHHATL' we can see Momma Dee and Lil Scrappy talking to each other. Where Lil Scrappy was seen being calm and composed, Momma Dee was more furious and angry seeing her son's declining relationships. According to Ace Showbiz, Lil Scrappy and Bambi's broken marriage will be part of the upcoming season's storyline. Therefore, it is certain that the show will also feature Lil Scrappy's romance with Erica Mena. But it seems that Erica is also not liked by Momma Dee. She is seen asking Lil Scrappy in the sneak peek, "Do you really think of feeling that b**ch?" To this, Lil Scrappy defended, "Mom, don't call her no bitch." This seems to have infuriated Momma Dee. She says in a confessional, "He gonna tell me he don't deal back in dip sack, saying he try to give her another chance."
Momma Dee further claimed that his son needs to get a "new piece of a** and move." She then iconically said, "And yes, she is a b**ch." Momma Dee further seems to have purposely spelled it wrong, "BICTH."
