It's been nine years since 'Hannah Montana' graced our screens but it seems like, that's about to change as Miley Cyrus has just given us something to look forward. She has now confirmed that she is "definitely getting the wig out."

In a recent interview on 'Carolina With Greg T In The Morning', Miley said that she's ready to bring Hannah back from retirement, saying: "You know what honestly, I try to put that wig on all the time. She's just in storage collecting dust and I'm ready to whip her out... The opportunity will present itself. I definitely would like to resurrect her at some point. She needs a big makeover because she's kinda stuck in 2008, so we'll need to go shopping with Miss Montana. And also yea I'd love to do a series again. I think it would be hard for me to get locked into a soundstage for a couple of years, but that's sometime in the future and hopefully, I'm directing it."

Last year, Cyrus threw some hints when she posted a video on Twitter, where she said, "I'll just be Hannah forever." She even posted a couple of videos of her singing "Best of Both Worlds," the Hannah Montana theme song, Migos' "Hannah Montana."

Now according to the latest tweet by Pop Crave, Cyrus has once again confirmed the news, as the popular pop culture twitter handle wrote, "Miley Cyrus confirms to @1075theriver that she is planning to revive Hannah Montana: “At some point, I’m definitely getting the wig out of storage.”

One 'Hannah Montana' fan retweeted the post and said, " was shopping at H&M a few days ago and I heard “One in a Million” playing and I knew she’d be the one to save us," and another one said, "Miley, again, I am not mentally stable enough for you to play with my emotions. Although, if this does happen, it may be able to fix all of my problems."

While some didn't really want the series to return, as on Internet user wrote, "miley killed hannah montana and now she’s trying to bring her back? no honey you already ruined it for me thanks." And some slammed her and wrote, "Sometimes I think that Miley has some identity issues. Hanna was a fictional character but she doesnt want to let it go." And some questioned her career and wrote, "uhhhmmm lmfao doesn't she loathe Hannah Montana????? Well, the things you do if your music career is dying."

The original Disney Channel series, 'Hannah Montana' debuted in 2006, effectively launching Cyrus to superstardom before ending in 2011 after four seasons. A feature film was also released during the show's run, in 2009, titled, 'Hannah Montana: The Movie'.
