Is Lee Gwan-hee a 'manipulative coward'? Single's Inferno' star for treating Cho Hye-seon as a 'fallback' option
SEUNGBONG-DO, SOUTH KOREA: Unlike other contestants, Lee Gwan-hee has not yet been able to decide who he wants to go ahead with in Netflix's 'Single's Inferno' Season 3. He is stuck in between Cho Hye-seon and Choi Min-ji.
After having a good one-on-one conversation with Min-ji and clearly saying to her that he wants to choose her and doesn't want to lose her to anyone else, Gwan-hee went to Hye-seon to give her a hint that she still has a chance with him.
Knowing that Gwan-hee loves attention and wants his options open, panelists of the dating show slammed the contestant for being too confused and playing with women's feelings.
Panelists believe Hye-seon is torn between entertaining Gwan-hee's feelings and constantly giving him affirmations. Lee Da-hee believes Gwan-hee is using Hye-seon as a "fallback" despite knowing that things might not work out between them.
Seeing Gwan-hee twist narratives throughout the show, Da-hee slams him saying, "He's a manipulative coward." Noticing Da-hee got quiet angry with Gwan-hee, Hanhae was shocked seeing her call out Gwan-hee a "manipulative coward" on record.
Other panelists agreed with Da-hee's claims and said, "Gwan-hee deserves it though. Hong Jin-kyung says, "He doesn't express anything and wants everyone else to do it for him."
'Single's Inferno' Season 3: Will Lee Gwan-hee pair up with Cho Hye-seon
Gwan-hee was all head over heels for Min-ji until Hye-seon once again came into the picture. As Hye-seon chose to go to paradise with Gwan-hee, he once again got confused with his feelings.
Towards the end of episode 9, we see Gwan-hee believing that Hye-seon is the one for him. He believed it was destiny that he got to go with Hye-seon on his first and last date while in the show.
As they promised each other at the starting of the show, both made a full circle by choosing each other to go on date with in the end. However, it is further to be seen whether Gwan-hee will stick to his feelings and pair up with Hye-seon in the end.
'Single's Inferno' Season 3: Why was Lee Gwan-hee being 'cold' to Choi Min-ji?
Min-ji confessed her feelings for Gwan-hee. Ahead of the final pairing, they both agreed to stick together and asked each other to not do a few things to show that they are truly devoted.
Gwan-hee asked Min-ji to choose Lee Jin-Seok. However, he did not want Min-ji to pick either Park Min-kyu or Son Won-ik. Not following what Gwan-hee said, Min-ji asked Min-kyu to go on a paradise date with her.
This infuriated Gwan-hee. He chose not to talk to her while they were with their partners in the helicopter heading toward the paradise. Despite constantly poking Gwan-hee and trying hard to talk to him, he gave a cold shoulder to her and moved away his hands.
Seeing this, Min-ji broke down into tears. She is now insecure that Gwan-hee might no longer have feelings for her anymore.
'Single's Inferno' Season 3 finale episodes will air on January 9 on Netflix.
