Honey Boo Boo's boyfriend Dralin Carswell recently pleaded not guilty to driving while under the influence and running away from the police after a wild car chase in February 2023.
According to The Sun, Dralin was facing four counts and he pleaded not guilty to all of them. Honey Boo Boo was notably with Dralin during the incident.
The outlet reported that he was accused of "fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving under the influence (controlled substance), driving under the influence (drugs)."
Dralin was accused of two drug-related counts which alleged that he had marijuana in his body. According to the court documents obtained by the outlet, he allegedly fled the police at 75 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Additionally, he "willfully" refused to stop his vehicle even after police commands. Meanwhile, the fourth count alleged that Darlin provided his fake identity to the police.
Honey Boo Boo sells personal items amid college struggles
Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson moved to Colorado to study nursing degree from Regis University. The reality star received a 21K scholarship at the school.
