We all love a good spy film but there's one spy that the whole world knows of and it's quite obviously the ever-suave James Bond. You absolutely can't say Bond and not relate it to the mindblowing danger and thrills that the British secret agent brings to the table.
Daniel Craig who currently essays the iconic role is soon to lay down the mantle and the burning question of who will play the next super spy has been eating at fans' minds ever since. There were even rumors of the next 007 being a woman and now a new star may be in the running! Who you ask? It's none other that than the handsome hunk Henry Cavill! The actor who is currently basking in the glory of 'The Witcher' Season 2 shared an exciting opinion regarding the casting of James Bond, so read on to know know what he said.

Henry Cavill says 'everything's always on the table' when it comes to playing James Bond
In an interview with The Sunday Times the Superman star on being asked if he'd still be interested in playing James Bond said “Time will tell and you don’t know which direction they want to take Bond in and so I like to say that everything’s always on the table.” For those of you who don't know, the actor was nearly cast as the iconic spy in 2006 when he was pitted against Craig but eventually lost out on it. Now although he didn't get the part the actor has never stopped displaying interest in the role and has said multiple times over the years that he's always ready to consider it.
Ranging from 2015 where he told Men's Health the Bond people are wonderful, and that he'd like to work with them, to last year's GQ interview where he reiterated his interest saying that he would absolutely jump at the opportunity if it arose, as he would love to play Bond and that it would be very, very exciting. The actor who is very open to playing the part is currently shooting the spy film 'Argylle' and the director Matthew Vaughn even showed his confidence in him playing Bond when he told The Hollywood Reporter that Cavill is a natural fit for the role.
Amidst the list of potential new Bonds, Henry Cavill sure looks to be a promising choice, but only time will tell if he'll be the next 007 or not.
