LONDON, ENGLAND: For all the lovers of some exceptional and scandalous period drama, brace yourselves, and no, we are not talking about ‘Bridgerton.’

‘Belgravia: The Next Chapter’ has officially begun on MGM+, and if you have watched the first series, ‘Belgravia,’ then you already know you’re in for a wild ride.

The first episode of ‘Belgravia: The Next Chapter’ has already set the focus on Lord Frederick Trenchard and Clara Dunn.

The first 15 minutes of the episode focussed on their courtship, gentle touches, and a beautiful wedding, and the rest of the episode began to unfold the reality of what might lie ahead.

Could one of the scandalous things also be a potential love triangle?

Clara Dunn’s accidental fall in Episode 1

‘Belgravia: The Next Chapter’ Episode 1 was off to a great start with all the romance and love between Clara Dunn and Frederick Trenchard.

However, once their marriage actually began, Frederick’s past began to haunt him, and he wasn’t able to give Clara the love either of them had expected. The couple even had a row towards the end of Episode 1, which led to Clara falling down the stairs.

While ‘Belgravia: The Next Chapter’ was not going to kill their lead in the very first episode, they could have potentially introduced a new dynamic which could lead to a love triangle, scandal, and a whole lot of drama in the coming episodes.

‘Belgravia: The Next Chapter’ Episode 1 introduced Dr Stephen Ellerby earlier in the episode and he was established as a kind and caring man, in contrast to the slightly different personality of Frederick Trenchard when he’s around Clara Dunn, struggling with the demons from his past.

When Clara falls down the stairs, Dr Stephen is called in, and there is almost an immediate trust, and maybe a small spark between him and Clara as he tends to her.

Frederick is asked to leave the room for a moment too while Dr Stephen checks Clara for any injuries, but a jealous Frederick is quick to return to the room after noticing lingering glances.

This could be the beginning of a love triangle between Clara, Frederick, and Dr Stepehen, but only time, and the upcoming episodes of ‘Belgravia: The Next Chapter’ will let the viewers know what’s really in store for the characters.
