Is ‘Daily Wire’ still happening? Trouble spells for action flick as Jonathan Majors falls through window of movie set
A terrifying incident recently took place on the sets of a Daily Wire and Bonfire Legend movie. At the end of March, Jonathan Majors, who is headlining the movie along with co-star JC Kilcoyne, tripped out of a window while shooting a scene, according to Deadline. The whole incident was captured on video, which has since gone viral on social media. As per multiple sources, the accident took place after the actual window was replaced by a sheet of tempered glass. The plan was for this unsecured sheet to shatter for an upcoming scene. That scene would reportedly not have included either of the two actors. The fall apparently happened because the sheet was just placed loosely on the window. Therefore, when the actors came in close contact with it, the sheet shattered and caused the duo to fall six feet into the ground.
Kilcoyne allegedly required stitches all over his hand after the accident. There has been no update regarding Majors' condition. Kilcoyne's representatives confirmed to the media that he is doing well now and was immediately taken care of by the production. “JC did not feel unsafe on set and continues to have a positive experience working on the project,” the rep added. The accident has now led to a strike by the crew, refusing to work in such unsafe conditions. The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) reportedly called the strike on March 26, 2026. Initially, the union just wished to sign a contract with production that would secure payment into the union’s health and pension funds. Later, safety issues took centre stage in their list of grievances.
The incident was captured on video obtained by Deadline.

Multiple sources confirm to Deadline that the accident occurred after the window was replaced with an unsecured sheet of tempered glass to be purposefully shattered in a later stunt that did not involve any actors.

Multiple workers claimed that even before the accident, there were several instances of props falling on the crew. There were also apparently no meetings conducted between the crew and department heads or writer-director Kyle Rankin before complex stunts or the use of prop firearms, both of which could lead to dangerous situations. The previous location of the movie needed to be changed after the crew found mold in the premises. The production apparently was very interested in shooting the movie at the site despite warnings from a contractor regarding the building's safety.“They didn’t really care about the long-term effects on the crew,” one of the former set laborers shared. “I don’t think it even crossed their minds, because they’re so inept.”
The production doesn't seem to be concerned with the strike, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Dallas Sonnier of Bonfire Legend did not consider the accident to be a serious affair. “The actors’ fall was shorter than the failed movie careers of the now-union reps,” he said. Sonnier further rejected any talks of negotiation, claiming that they don't "negotiate with communists," as per Deadline. Certain reports suggest that filming continues in some capacity behind picket lines, possibly with the help of scabs in the place of crew. The film is allegedly titled 'Run Hide Fight Infidels' and is an anthology sequel to the 2020 thriller 'Run Hide Fight.'
