Is Ariana Madix leaving 'Vanderpump Rules'? Internet calls star 'ungrateful' for removing Bravo from Insta bio
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 11 concluded with a surprise exit on Friday, May 7. The simmering rivalry between Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval reached a climax when the former walked out at the end of the season finale.
Her exit from the show was not warmly accepted by either her castmates or fans. By the conclusion of the weekend, her future on the show had become a matter of conversation among fans, with a fresh development adding to their predictions.
On May 12, Bravo fan pages kept track of her Instagram page before the star deleted her account for the nth time in the past few months. One such fan page posted a screenshot of Ariana's Instagram profile (hours before removing her account), where she has carefully taken off the previously mentioned Bravo tag.
Fans soon jumped to a conclusion, with many taking to the comment section to write, "Bye Felicia, you’re so boring." While others guessed, "I think Bravo isn't bringing VPR back. It has run its course."
While some people didn't consider this a great move, as they wondered, "Maybe she shouldn’t but the hand that feeds her. Or has fed her." A fourth user echoed the same emotion, writing, "It means she’s a little ungrateful, in my opinion. You can’t erase the past that easily."
Others speculated, "She’ll find out she’s just a nobody again when she doesn’t have VPR and Scan to keep her relevant. She got no offers before…." While another user chimed in, "It means she wants a raise so she’s manipulating @evolutionusa because they think they can’t do the show without her. Did we all forget how mean and boring she was seasons 2-9?"
Neither Ariana nor Bravo have indicated that she will return for another season. We'll be waiting for the Vanderpump three-part reunion, which premieres Tuesday, May 14 at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo.
Extended and unedited versions of the reunion will be available for streaming on Peacock the following day.
Ariana Madix stormed off 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 11 finale
Tom interrupted Ariana and Scheana Shay's talk to apologize, prompting her abrupt escape. As Scheana described her conversation with Ariana to Tom, producers attempted to prevent the 'Chicago' star from leaving.
"Not happening," she responded, gathering her belongings. "He does not deserve to speak to me. He does not get access to me."
Ariana Madix reasons 'financial condition' for not leaving 'Vanderpump Rules'
Ariana said that she wasn't in a "financial place" to leave the show after season ten when she appeared.
on 'Watch What Happens Live!' with Katie Maloney prior to the season finale. She will now host 'Love Island USA' on Peacock, had her Broadway debut in 'Chicago', and finished third on 'Dancing With the Stars'.
Not to mention that she is likely going to make a lot more money from her new sandwich store than she has from her brand partnerships. To put it another way, she's scheduled and busy, which may cause her to leave 'Vanderpump Rules'.
Ariana Madix hints at life after 'Vanderpump Rules'
Ariana is ready to toast a new chapter in her career. The 'Vanderpump Rules' star has undoubtedly been busier than ever.
"The one thing that I've learned about myself is that the busier I am, the more I feel I'm capable of handling," Ariana told E! News in an exclusive interview. "It's those moments when I have too much downtime that I start to get antsy and feel like I need more."
Is there any other way she sees herself except for shooting reality TV? According to the Bravo star, "Oh, absolutely."
"Being on Broadway is my number one thing," she said. "I'm so proud of myself for being able to do that."
"I'm proud of myself for really learning to manage my anxiety in a better way," Ariana conveyed. "I think that's brought me a lot of peace. And peace is tough to come by, so I'm happy to be on a better side of that."
"There's always an aspect of feeling guilty when you bet on yourself," she described. "You know, somebody else might not like the decision you're making. But the only way you can ever take care of other people is if you're taking care of yourself first. So, putting yourself first and betting on yourself."
She continued, "And when it's tough, that's when you lean on the people who believe in you."
It seems logical that she began working on DSW on May 9 in Los Angeles with her closest pals, Dayna Kathan, a former cast member, and costar Katie.
And in keeping with Ariana's style, her latest spring collection was created with purpose.
