‘Age of Attraction’ Season 2 might be in the works and this huge casting clue has us convinced
Netflix's latest entry from its roster of dating shows, 'Age of Attraction,' wrapped up its first season on March 25. It debuted on the streamer on March 11 and featured 40 singles across age groups in search of love. The series is created by Jennifer O'Connell and Rebecca Quinn, cofounders of Velvet Hammer Media. While Netflix's other dating shows like 'Love Is Blind' and 'Temptation Island' center on the concepts of physical attraction and loyalty, 'Age of Attraction' tackles another growing trend in modern dating: big age gaps. Nick Viall and his wife, Natalie Joy Viall, host the series as the couple themselves shares an 18-year age gap.
Season 1 contestants kept audiences hooked with their ever-evolving relationship status, and now fans are wondering if the series will return for another installment. Well, 'Age of Attraction' has not officially been renewed for Season 2. However, there is good news, as Alicia Good, the casting director and producer of Damn Good Casting, shared a casting call for Season 2 on Instagram on March 12. The caption said, "Apply for season 2 at: http://ageofattractioncasting.com! Select 'Alicia' as your casting contact!" As per the casting notice, they are searching for "fun, outgoing, active" single men and women in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and older who are "open to age gap love."
This is a clear sign that the series is working behind the scenes to put together another season, and it is only a matter of time before Netflix makes the renewal announcement. As the show is currently in the first stage of casting, production and filming will take months. So, the next season of ‘Age of Attraction’ will likely drop in late 2026 or early 2027. In the first season of 'Age of Attraction,' 20 men and 20 women between the ages of 20 and 60 headed to a remote retreat to try their luck at love. The participants bonded and built chemistry without disclosing their ages.
From there, 14 couples entered the 'Promise Room,' where they exchanged promise rings and revealed their true ages to each other. Out of them, the show followed six couples as they tested their connection in the real world by moving in together and meeting each other's families and friends. The couples were Theresa and John (age gap of 27 years), Vanessa and Logan (age gap of 20 years), Derrick and Pfeifer (age gap of 20 years), Leah and Chris (age gap of 15 years), Andrew and Libby (age gap of 16 years), and Jorge and Vanelle (age gap of 33 years). Jorge and Vanelle split up before the finale in episode 5, while Chris ended his relationship with Leah in the finale.
Moreover, Logan got down on his knees and proposed to Vanessa in the finale. "Age doesn't matter for us. Vanessa changed me. She's the one who's made me feel ways that I haven't felt before," he said after the proposal. Fans can watch the couple spill all the juicy details from their time on the show in the reunion special. It is set to drop at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET on April 1 on Netflix. Sam Dean and David Friedman serve as showrunners of 'Age of Attraction.' Moreover, O’Connell and Quinn executive produce the series alongside Nick Alarcon, the show's co-executive producer.
