The series, which first premiered on March 25, 2021, delves into the life of a seemingly normal teenager who develops superpower abilities.

What happened in 'Invincible Season 2, Part 1?'

Part 1 of the second season consisted of four episodes and was filled with action and adventure.

In the finale of the first part, Omni-Man (J K Simmons) informs his son about the repercussions he will face due to the Viltrumites' wrath since Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun) has abandoned his post.

The father-son duo is interrupted during their conversation when Omni-Man is captured, and the Viltrumites commence wreaking havoc in the cosmos.

What is the plot of 'Invincible Season 2, Part 2'?

Mark will confront the greatest obstacle in the second part of the superhero series, as the Viltrumites are getting ready to invade Earth and have threatened to murder anyone who stands in their way. 

In addition, Mark will battle Angstrom Levy (Sterling K. Brown), whose hatred for Mark has grown exponentially. Angstrom Levy's intentions are clear, he wants to wipe both Mark and his father, Omni-Man, from the face of the earth.

The South Korean-American actor Steven Yeun voices the character of Markus Sebastian "Mark" Grayson, aka Invincible, in the series. 

Yeun, who was born in South Korea, is a graduate of Kalamazoo College with a degree in psychology. The talented actor made his debut in 2009 with the short film 'The Kari Files' and gained his breakthrough with 'The Walking Dead.'

In 2017, he starred in the critically acclaimed movie 'Burning', which gained him widespread acclaim.

In addition to 'Beef,' for which he received a Golden Globe Award, 'Okja', 'The Humans', 'Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters,' and 'Tuca & Bertie,' are his other noteworthy roles.

Sandra Oh voices the character of Deborah "Debbie" Grayson in the series.

The National Theatre School alumni first faced the camera in 1989 for a television pilot 'Denim Blues.'

Sandra Oh, is among the top-paid Asian-American actresses and is well-recognized for having paved the path for Asian representation.

Her other noteworthy parts include those in 'Meditation Park,' 'Over the Moon,' 'Mulan II,' 'Turning Red,' 'Hard Candy,' 'Tammy,' 'Grey's Anatomy,' and 'Under the Tuscan Sun.'

Gillian Jacobs

Gillian Jacobs voices the characters of Samantha Eve "Sam" Wilkins, Adam Eve, and Phase One in the series.

Jacobs gained her breakthrough in the NBC sitcom 'Community' and continued to gain love and appreciation from the audience through her work in 'Girls' and 'Love.'

She even took on the role of a director, showcasing her versatility, as she directed an episode of 'Marvel's 616.'

Her other noteworthy work credits include 'Blackbird,' 'Gardens of the Night,' 'Revenge for Jolly!,' 'Walk of Shame,' 'Life Partners,' 'Don't Think Twice,' and 'Brother Nature.'
