LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Grey's Anatomy' is back. As we know today was the last episode Ellen Pompeo served as a series regular on the series, and will probably be back for the season finale but one never knows. True to its name, the ABC series has always left the audience in a situation where they couldn't choose black or white, and support what is right or wrong as it was truly confusing. Up until now, the series was revolving around the titular character, Meredith Grey which helped the viewers to see what is happening in Meredith and her life.

This is the first season to feature Alexis Floyd, Harry Shum Jr., Adelaide Kane, Midori Francis, and Niko Terho as series regulars, which resembles a lot to the ratio of the OG interns of 2005, Pompeo, Sandra Oh, Katherine Heigl, Justin Chambers, and T. R. Knight. Does this mean it is a new beginning? We don't know but read more to find out about Episode 7.

What time will 'Grey's Anatomy' Season 19 Episode 7, 'I'll Follow the Sun' be out on ABC?

From 'pick me, choose me' to 'I won't beg you to love me'

There is no doubt that Ellen Pompeo's Meredith Grey has had an incredible journey up until now. After we saw Ellen Pompeo's Meredith Grey falling in love, at the beginning of the series we have seen her beg for love from Patrick Dempsey's Derek Shepherd, and now she has finally learned how to love herself just enough to ask Nick to back off if he doesn't respect her enough. In total honesty, this episode resembled a lot of the previous episodes from the series that made the viewers trace back to the situation that the OG interns had faced.

‘This place won’t be the same without you'

In this episode, although Kim Raver's Teddy Altman seemed a little annoying the episode felt a little underwhelming at the end in comparison to the start. However, moments from the farewell party is worth grabbing your tissues for. Furthermore, after Maggie and Winston pulled off a miracle in the O.R., the husband and wife finally talked about their fight in the midseason finale. Apparently, in the two weeks that had passed on screen, he’d been waiting for an apology for her remark that she didn’t respect his willingness to change specialties to save their marriage. But at this point, he realized that no “I’m sorry” was forthcoming. What’s more, he realized that over the course of their relationship, he’d overlooked his wife’s "coldness," an aspect of her personality that he didn’t respect.

Will Maggie be able to save her marriage or not? We don't know but Ellen Pompeo's Meredith Grey seemed content regardless of Nick's call and remembering what Sandra Oh's Christina Yang told Meredith in Season 10 Episode 24, "Don’t let what he wants to eclipse what you need. He’s very dreamy, but he’s not the Sun. You are.” We can confirm she has finally become so.

Grey's Anatomy,' which follows the personal and professional lives of the doctors at Seattle's Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, airs every Thursday at 9 pm ET on ABC.
