Golden Globes 2023 Full Winners List: 'The Fabelmans' wins big, Michelle Yeoh and Colin Farrell take home acting trophies
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: It was a star-studded night in Beverly Hills as the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) handed the Golden Globes on Tuesday, January 10, and it was 'The Fabelmans’ and ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’ took home the biggest prizes of the night on the film's side. Meanwhile, ‘House of the Dragon’ and ‘Abbott Elementary’ were among the big TV winners.
The night started with Ke Huy-quan winning the Best Supporting Actor trophy for his role in ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ and thanked the Daniels for believing in him. On the other hand, his co-star Michelle Yeoh went on to become the second Asian actress to win the Best Actress (Comedy/Musical) trophy for playing Evelyn in the aforementioned film. On the other hand, Steven Spielberg took home his 8th Best Director trophy at the Golden Globes for ‘The Fabelmans’ which is an auto-biographical movie based on the director’s childhood and younger days. Spielberg went to the stage once again when Quentin Tarantino announced that ‘The Fabelmans’ has won the Best Picture (Drama) accolade, edging past movies such as ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’, ‘Elvis’, ‘TAR’, and ‘Top Gun: Maverick’.

Austin Butler won Best Actor in Motion Picture (Drama) for ‘Elvis’ while Cate Blanchett took home the prize for Best Actress in Motion Picture (Drama) for her impeccable acting in ‘TAR’. In the comedy section, Colin Farrell received the Best Actor in a Motion Picture (Comedy/Musical) trophy for ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’, which won Best Picture (Comedy/Musical).
On the television side, Kevin Costner won his first-ever acting Golden Globe for the series ‘Yellowstone’ and created history. Meanwhile, ‘House of the Dragon’, ‘Abbott Elementary’, and ‘The White Lotus’ emerged as the biggest winners of the night.
