Internet speculates Cynthia Bailey’s ex-husband Peter Thomas may have jaundice after 'yellow eyes' during DUI arrest
GEORGIA, ATLANTA: Peter Thomas has landed in some legal trouble.
'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Cynthia Bailey's ex-husband has been arrested for DUI, as per a report by Page Six.
Thomas was arrested by the cops in Cobb County, Georgia at 2 pm ET on Tuesday. He had his picture taken for a mugshot and was released later that day after paying a bail amount of almost $3,000, according to his booking sheet.
Thomas was given citations for driving without a license, not having proof of insurance, failing to stay in his lane, having an expired or no tag, and violating a traffic control device.
A judge has ordered Thomas, aged 63, to abstain from consuming alcohol and marijuana. Additionally, he is required to undergo regular drug and alcohol tests at his own expense and is prohibited from owning any firearms.
On Friday, January 12, 2024, Thomas spilled the beans on his arrest on his Instagram Story.
In a video shared, Thomas said, "My phone is blowing up, everyone’s calling me, I’m wondering what’s going on. Then I realized … it’s the DUI thing that happened last Wednesday. I refused to blow. I spent the night in the hospital because my blood pressure was so high."
The Bar One owner further added, "They told me I have to turn myself in because there was gonna be a warrant, so I did so. Turned myself in, bailed myself out [in] three hours.”
Thomas continued, “Of all the venues and all the years I’ve been in this game, I’ve never been arrested for DUI. I’m mindful about that. I have a little brother that got killed because of drunk driving so I am really mindful about that.”
