NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: House Republicans are reportedly planning a closed-door meeting on Friday morning to deliberate the possibility of conducting a formal vote to authorize an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, as per information obtained by Fox News Digital.

Three sources familiar with the discussions have indicated that GOP leaders are seriously contemplating a House-wide vote to officially sanction an investigation into Biden.

Following this news, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) and questioned if GOP is “making it official”.

The internet showed fury as many X users blasted on POTUS.

Sean Hannity reports on GOP’s upcoming vote to formalize Joe Biden's Impeachment Inquiry

Fox News host Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “*FORMALIZING THE IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY?* Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY); Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH); and Ways & Means Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) are expected to make their case to the House GOP Conference...”

Hannity’s tweet featured an article from his official website titled, “MAKING IT OFFICIAL? GOP Discussing Vote to Formalize Biden Impeachment Inquiry.”

The article reported that the GOP committee is expected to make its case on Biden and his family to the House GOP Conference.

Back in September, former Speaker Kevin McCarthy, a Republican from California, called for the House to initiate an impeachment inquiry into President Biden.

However, the White House has rejected the legitimacy of the probe, citing the absence of a formal vote on the matter.

According to sources, GOP leaders believe that orchestrating a House-wide vote to formalize the impeachment inquiry would heighten the challenge for the Biden administration in refusing subpoenas and information requests from House Republicans.

Moderate Republicans have conveyed a perceived need to scrutinize Biden, indicating their endorsement of Speaker Mike Johnson, a Republican from Louisiana, to convene a vote on commencing the inquiry.

Republican Representative Carlos Gimenez from Florida, whose district is based in Miami, informed Fox News Digital, saying, "There's ample smoke coming out of the White House that justifies an impeachment inquiry."

Additionally, Representative Don Bacon, a Republican from Nebraska, whose district was narrowly won by Biden in the 2020 election, has voiced support for the idea of commencing a formal impeachment inquiry.

If carried out, the vote on a formal impeachment inquiry into President Biden would serve as a declaration of House GOP backing for investigating Biden.

According to a Republican lawmaker who spoke to Fox News Digital, there is a belief that there is sufficient support within the party for such a measure to pass.

However, a second GOP lawmaker emphasized that no definitive decision has been reached, and the consideration of a formal impeachment inquiry vote is still in the "discussion" phase.

Internet calls Joe Biden a 'corrupt'

After Sean Hannity reported on the GOP’s upcoming discussion to formalize Joe Biden’s impeachment inquiry, many people on the internet took a brutal jab at POTUS.

One person simply slammed Biden adding, “What I find most amazing about Biden is from the time he took office, until the present. Every action he has taken has been detrimental to the United States.  We know that he's trying to appease the Left, but it appears that he is manipulated by other interests and/or people.”

Another simply said, “It’s about time! The Bidens are CORRUPT!”

One more person slammed Biden, “Good get rid of his stupid ass and put him in his whole family in jail,” and another wrote, “Too slow, hurry things up and impeach Joe’s arse.”

One X user said, “Good we as Americans have a right to the facts and the truth And if what we're learning about biden and his administration is true, his ass should be impeached and thrown right out the front door.”

Another trolled Biden, “Looks like Joe has a headache.”
