In a recent ‘Today’ episode, Lee shared life advice on the ‘Today with Hoda and Jenna’ segment. She also talked about how she parents her children.
However, Kotb’s advice on the topic didn’t garner positive feedback from fans of the show and they slammed her for it.
In another recent segment, Kotb expressed her surprise over co-star Jenna Bush Hager's NSFW admissions in an interview with People. The first former daughter was interviewed by People magazine and was featured on their cover.
Although it was a moment of celebration, Kotb shared that she was stunned when Hager made shocking statements on air.
Hoda Kotb gives life advice on show
Hoda Kotb recently celebrated her 59th birthday and also shared that she’s grateful to live this day. Kotb is the mother of two daughters, Hope and Haley, and has been single for years now.
Despite being a single mother, Kotb has a deep love for her daughters and she often shares life lessons and advice on air based on her own experience as a parent and a talk show host.
Even recently Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager welcomed Sheryl Lee Ralph. While she talked about several topics on women, Kotb also had something of her own to share.
She said, “Life isn’t about the really great thing that happened once a week or the really crummy thing that happened once. It’s about the little bits and pieces all day.”
Although she beautifully explained her sentiments, her fans didn’t have the same opinion as they brutally slammed her on social media as 'Today' shared her thoughts on Instagram.

Fans tell Hoda Kotb to ‘shut up’
Despite Hoda Kotb's heartfelt and thoughtful message about cherishing life's everyday moments, some trolls took to the comment section to express differing opinions. Instead of resonating with her sentiments, they chose to criticize her message.
One person said, “Why does she insist on talking. Just shut up. Can't stand her,” while another added, “Why must people tell us what life is about, you don’t know what my life is about Hoda.”
One more commenter reflected on her personal life stating, “She isn't happy. Giving motivation is about herself she is alone and sad unfortunately. Hope things will turn better for her as well everyone.”
A fourth person declared, “All she does is lie.” Others slammed her talking style, commenting, “New drinking game: take a sip every time Hoda says “like” ~ it won’t take long to get toasted. It’s so annoying for a grown woman (and newscaster) to be sounding like a teenager.”
A sixth person also said “Your easily pleased. Bits and pieces are trivial and everyday life. You have to be strong enough to expect trauma.”
