Jordan Allred's baseball bat with barbwires and light bulbs failed to impress the judges

In this week's episode of 'Ink Master: Turf War', Jordan Allred from Team Mid-West was eliminated on the basis of her confusing piece of art.

The judges — Dave Navarro, Chris Nunez and Oliver Peck — thought that she had designed a baseball bat intertwined with barb wires. However, it did not look like a bat and the light bulbs wrapping it were too big, which messed up the proportions of the subjects. Teammate Jerrel Larkins, however, was pleased with her design and did not want her in the bottom two. He was confident that plenty of bad tattoos were made on the day and she doesn't deserve to go home.

In her defense, Jordan said that because color and neon don't fall into her territory, this is why she chose to keep it simple but clearly that was a wrong decision. To this Oliver said that simple is great only if the lines are done properly. He severely critiqued her linework and pointed out how the outline of the baseball that went behind the bulbs didn't fall in line.

The neon challenge was a tough one and not one piece of art came out strong, except for Angel Rose's. She designed a biomechanic in black and grey that had a strong neon light added to it. Everyone else either had the neon effect missing or made confusing designs that did not match up to their canvasses' ideas.

Meanwhile, fans feel Jordan's elimination was an unfair one and that the judges are simply trying to save Team South and are making efforts to even out the teams. Jordi Pla of South was in bottom two with Jordan and the artists on the show thought that his design was not worthy of a save.

"MAJOR DISAGREE WITH THAT ELIMINATION!! I would 10 times wear that bat than even look at that whacky dinosaur thing. Terrible judgement just so a team doesn’t go down to one person I’m betting. #InkMaster #Rigged," a fan wrote.

Another expressed: "Knew the south wasn't gonna be reduced to one member. That would kill it as far as flash challenges as a team goes #InkMaster."

"That's fucking ridiculous. Jordan’s tattoo was NOT the worst. Maybe they’re trying to make the teams more evenly matched? #InkMaster," a user shared. "Let's be honest, they're not making the South a one-man team this early in the season, we all know that #InkMaster," tweeted another viewer.
