Are Vikash Mishra and Janki Kaneria still together? 'Indian Matchmaking' stars overlook age-gap to find love
DAVIS, CALIFORNIA: While Vikash Mishra opted to fully immerse himself in the matchmaking promise and entrust his future in the hands of Sima Taparia, he met a fair share of matches, all thanks to her. With Season 3 of 'Indian Matchmaking' now accessible on Netflix, viewers want to know what happened to Vikash and Janki Kaneria following their first date.
Vikash was initially seeking a "Hindi-speaking doctor who was from the same community my parents are from, who was fun, caring, beautiful, and would break out into, like, song and dance." However, after failing to find "his person" after 39 years, he decided to abandon his fastidious approach. The ER doctor turned 40 on the show, met several matches proposed by Sima, and took his parents' phone away in one particularly hilarious scene. So, as we see Vikash go on a date with Janki, fans are curious to know, are they still together after Season 3?

Vikash meets 10 years younger Janki
When Vikash meets Sima, he tells her that he is searching for someone with a lot of energy who is charming and gorgeous but who does not have to have a six-pack. He anticipated that his future partner would be taller than 5'3". Because he wants to start a family, his spouse should be between the ages of 32 and 42. They can come from any background; they just need to be educated. He also expressed an interest in meeting any Brahmin girl. Even if she isn't a Brahmin, Vikash thought her ability to speak Hindi was a huge bonus.
Sima presents him with three biodata, each of which contains something that may be a dealbreaker for Vikash. He was paired up with Janki after embarking on two dates with Sima's matches that did not go well for him. The two get together for a wine tasting. Sima believed Janki would be a good match for Vikash because he was seeking a girl who spoke Hindi. Vikash admits in a confessional that he hasn't dated anyone a decade younger than himself, but he was prepared to give Janki a chance. Janki, on the other hand, says that she is a really straightforward person who would rather make a joke about the age gap than let it ruin her opportunity with Vikash.
Janki believes the two had some chemistry because Vikash seemed to like her age-gap joke. She had a 'vibe' with Vikash as well. When the lawyer from Charlotte asked Vikash whether he would move for the love of his life, he replied yes. Janki told him that she would follow suit. Janki adds in her confessional that she appreciated Vikash's graciousness and kindness. When Vikash finally asks for her phone number, Janki invites him to come to see her in North Carolina first.
Are Vikash and Janki still together after 'Indian Matchmaking' Season 3?
In a confessional, Vikash admits that he had a terrific time with Sima throughout the matching process. "Aunty Sima did a great job with this one," he thought. Janki was described by Vikash as "vibrant and fun to talk to, easy to get along with." Given that North Carolina was only a plane trip away, he promised to "try to make something happen. I wanna hang out with Janki again."
It's unclear whether Vikash and Janki are still dating after the season ended. The two do not follow each other on Instagram, and Vikash appears to have archived all of his postings on Instagram following the Season's release.
