LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lawrence recently pretended to be bitter and resentful at the Golden Globe Awards 2024.

The Hollywood actress was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her performance in 'No Hard Feelings'. 

However, it seemed that the 33-year-old wasn't happy when Emma Stone won the Golden Globe Award over her for the role in 'Poor Things'.

While the names of the nominees were being read for the best actress category, Lawrence mockingly looked at the camera and mouthed, "If I don’t win, I’m leaving."

Other nominees were Fantasia Barrino for 'The Color Purple', Natalie Portman for 'May December', Alma Poysti for 'Fallen Leaves', and Margot Robbie for 'Barbie'.

Jennifer's attitude shifted shortly after Stone was announced as the winner.

Jennifer was thrilled for her fellow nominee and couldn't contain her excitement, causing her to jump from her seat.

Soon after, the netizens shared their views on the duo's friendship.

Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone have been friends for many years 

Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence have been friends for a long time, and their friendship can be credited to their shared work with Woody Harrelson in the past.

Stone worked with Harrelson in the movie 'Zombieland' in 2009, while Lawrence collaborated with him for the 'Hunger Games' movies in the 2010s.

As per People magazine, while having a chat with Vanity Fair for the 2016 Cover Story, Lawrence shared, "[Stone] texted me that she got my number from Woody."

Lawrence further added, “I replied, F--- off!’ And we’ve been really good friends ever since.”
