'Golden Globes' 2024: Emma Stone winning Best Actress over Margot Robbie leaves fans fuming
BEVERLY HILTON, LOS ANGELES: Emma Stone bagged Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy award at Golden Globes 2024.
Fans were left enraged as they thought 'Barbie' actress Margot Robbie was more deserving of the win.
Emma's 'Poor Things' premiered December 8, 2023. The dark comedy is directed by Yorgos Lanthimos.
'Poor Things' was also nominated in a series of categories including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Performance in the Actor and Actress category.
'Barbie' was one of the most-loved films of 2023 and fans were furious after Emma Ston won the award over Margot Robbie.
One commented, "Emma Stone you are really pissing margot robbie off tonight."

The film also won the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award.
Besides 'Barbie,' 'Oppenheimer' was the other film that got the most nominations - 8 in total.
The 81st annual award ceremony took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
