Idol actor Hyunjun signs with Park Bogum’s agency Blossom, fans feel 'happy for him'
Fans everywhere were heartbroken when the 12th member of The Boyz, Hur Hyunjun announced that he would be leaving the K-pop group. However, since his departure, he has dabbled in everything from acting to debuting as a solo artist. And now he has signed with the talent agency Blossom Entertainment that has managed the likes of popular actors Park Bo-gum and Song Joong-ki and has produced their own K-dramas and films like 'Kairos' and 'The Miracle'.
On February 18, it was announced that Hur Hyunjun had changed his stage name to Hyunjun and signed an exclusive contract with Blossom Entertainment. We also got new acting headshots that prove his range and duality. In one photo, he shows off his boyish charm with a mullet and blue jumper. In the second, he sports a chic look with slick back hair and a turtle neck with a sombre attitude. Wanting to continue with his acting and singing career, Hyunjun has been signed on as an all-rounder who will take on all kinds of projects.

Who is Hyunjun?
Before he left The Boyz, Hyunjun was a dancer, rapper and also a vocalist in the K-pop group and went by the stage name Hwall. After leaving the boy group in 2019 due to an ankle injury, he started his own label and debuted as a soloist in 2020. He made his acting debut in the same year as one of the main leads in the BL (boy love) K-drama ‘Color Rush’. Well, with Hyunjun signing with an acting agency that also produces their own dramas and films, fans are excited about his second acting project.

Having been founded in 2012 by actor Chae Tae-hyun and his manager, Blossom Entertainment houses popular K-drama actors like Jung Gun-joo of ‘Extraordinary You’ fame, child actress Kim Su-an known for her breakout role in 'Train To Busan' and ‘Hospital Playlist’s Kwak Sun-young. Hyunjun’s fans are happy as they made tweets like, “LET'S GO BABY LESSGAWWWW!!!” Another added, “MY KING YES.”
