A new music-guessing game unscripted reality show is soon about to release on Fox. The popularity of 'The Masked Singer' that comes under the same genre led to the network fast-tracking the release of this show titled 'I Can Hear Your Voice'. Here's all you should know about it.

Release date

'I Can Hear Your Voice' debut season will premiere on Wednesday, September 23 at 9 pm ET, right after 'TMS' Season 4 premiere at 8 pm ET, only on Fox.

Plot

According to a press release by Fox, 'I Can Hear Your Voice' will feature, "a rotating panel of celebrity detectives, comprised of comedians and pop culture experts, and a musical superstar". Together they will be seen helping a contestant tell the difference between good and bad singers, without ever hearing them sing a note. A whopping $100,000 prize money is on the line in this game where the contestant will make attempts to weed out the bad "Secret Voices" from the good, based on a series of clues, interrogation and lip-synch challenges.

In the end, the singer whom the contestant picks will reveal if they are good or bad in a duet performance with the musical superstar, resulting in an amazing musical collaboration or a totally hilarious train wreck. 'I Can See Your Voice' is based on a format from Korea’s CJ ENM, the company behind NBC’s 'Better Late Than Never' and it does not involve actual singing until the reveal, according to Deadline.

Host

It's two back-to-back dates with Ken Jeong for audiences as permanent the 'TMS' judge will appear to host 'I Can Hear Your Voice'. Known to have the most hilarious and the inaccurate guesses on 'TMS', it will be interesting to see Jeong try to bring the same energy to this show. While a lot of details of the show's format will only be clear once it airs, Jeong's presence is guaranteed one element that will ensure constant laughs.

Creators

'I Can See Your Voice' is produced by Fox Alternative Entertainment. James McKinlay, Craig Plestis and Ken Jeong serve as the executive producers. The show is based on a South Korean format from CJ ENM.
