LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'House of the Dragon' is one of the most successful shows on HBO. This series is a prequel to the infamous series, 'Game of Thrones', and the story takes place approximately 172 years before the birth of Daenerys Stormborn and the death of her father Aerys, also known as the Mad Kind.

'House of the Dragon' follows the story of the House Targaryen when they were flourishing in Westeros. The plot begins to unfold when King Viserys I, the fifth Targaryen ruler, leaves his daughter Rhaenyra as his heir, stunning everyone. Also, it's worth mentioning that Emilia Clarke is known for her stellar performance in the parent series 'Game of Thrones'. Clarke portrayed the role of Daenerys Targaryen, a character arc that starts from a naive princess to a widow to the mother of dragons. Her notorious ending in the season finale was not a well-received one.

She went on to say that it is too weird. She added that she is really happy about the series' proceedings and the praise it has been receiving but for her, watching the series would be too weird and strange. Clark further added that it is like being asked to go to a school reunion that was not your year and she is avoiding it.

Clark said, “No! Can you forgive me? It’s too weird. I’m so happy it’s happening. I’m over the moon about all the awards… I just can’t do it. It’s so weird. It’s so strange. It’s kind of like someone saying, ‘You want to go to this school reunion that’s not your year? Want to go to that school reunion?’ That’s how it feels. I’m avoiding it.” However, it's worthy to note that 'House of the Dragon' has recently won the Golden Globe for Best Television Series - Drama. The series has also won the Golden Tomato Awards for Best TV Series, Best New Series and Best Sci-Fi & Fantasy Series.
