As one of the main producers and songwriters of BTS, RM aka Namjoon has created several iconic hit songs. Quite recently, he became the youngest songwriter to have 180 songs credited to him. He also happened to tie with the veteran artist PSY in second place as the songwriter with the most songs. And so, fans know that he always happens to be working on some song or the other. Unfortunately, on November 12, he revealed that he had accidentally deleted a song that had ARMY worried.

On the social media platform Weverse, Namjoon suddenly came online and shared, “I made a mistake in cleaning today… So the audio files that I had been working on for a year were lost… I’m in a total mental breakdown… But I will still find strength… I was almost done with it… sure… the worst day outta this year I’m sad so I’m recording it on Moments.” The BTS leader tried to clarify in a second post in hopes that fans wouldn’t worry but it didn’t do much.

ARMY help Namjoon in recovering deleted files

Namjoon actually ended up deleting 60 audio tracks as he explained, “In case you will worry, it’s only just that one song. The other few songs are left well in the care of others. But there are over 60 tracks recorded for this so I can’t even think of doing it all over again.. But I will still do it well and let you listen to it sometime. *sob* Everyone, use your cleaning programs with caution…” It turned out that he had been working on the song for a year and had recorded over 60 files for it.

And while he asked fans not to be worried, ARMY is known for always doing their best in helping BTS. After Namjoon’s post went viral on social media, sympathetic fans tried to help the BTS member recover the deleted files. They ended up Googling methods and shared it with Namjoon on Weverse and also sent him supportive messages so that he is not too hard on himself for the mistake.

‘We love you Namjoon’

ARMY trended ‘Sending hugs for Namjoon’ as they made tweets like, “ARMY is literally the best fandom i hope joonie restore his files :( Sending hugs for Namjoon.” Another fan shared, “It's okay joonie.Don't worry.Everything gonna be okay .We will be always there for you.Sending you a big hug WE LOVE YOU NAMJOON.” One ARMY commented, “The way ARMY comes together to try and help the guys collectively no matter what! We know you will be able to recover your file, #RM!” Another said, “Joon had 60 layers/ tracks recorded for one song. That's a lot of hardwork & effort. He worked on it for a whole year I sincerely hope he can recover them back.”
