In the finale of 'Black Girl Missing', after weeks of agonizing search, Marley (Taylor Mosby), aided by tech-savvy Bella (Cleo Fraser), discovers the identity of the predator who lured Lauren (Iyana Halley) away.

Using a clever phishing tactic, they pinpoint his location and alert Detective Dean. Meanwhile, Cheryl (Garcelle Beauvais), determined and desperate, stakes out the rendezvous spot and tails the predator to a remote house.

Inside, Cheryl finds Lauren, weak and sedated, a victim of abuse. The predator, a middle-aged man operating under various aliases, attempts to harm Cheryl but is swiftly apprehended by the arriving police, thanks to Bella's quick action.

It's revealed he's not only responsible for Lauren's ordeal but also linked to the disappearances of several other girls in the community.

In the aftermath, as Lauren is safely returned home, Cheryl seizes the opportunity to speak out nationally about the systemic neglect of missing Black girls. Her impassioned plea highlights the disparity in media coverage and societal response based on race and social status.

The film concludes with a poignant call for awareness and action to protect vulnerable communities often overlooked in the media.

In this latest project, Shannon (Tanyell Quian) is a determined college student working hard to pay for school. Suddenly, she disappears from classes and campus life, unnoticed by everyone except her counselor, Ellen (Naturi Naughton).

Ellen raises alarms with university officials, professors, and Shannon's boyfriend, but her concerns are met with little response. Undeterred, Ellen persists in her investigation, uncovering a shocking truth: Shannon has been abducted by a human trafficking ring targeting vulnerable female students of color.

The official plot synopsis reads, "A college counselor investigates the disappearance of an ambitious college student who was struggling to pay her tuition and stopped attending classes."
