‘How To Get Away With Murder’ Season 6 Episode 5 makes fan hate Laurel after watching all that Frank has uncovered about her

Karla Souza might have dropped out of Season 6 of ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ but fans are still very much attached to Laurel Castillo and get emotional at every surprising update on her character.

It’s been a while since we saw Laurel (Karla Souza) make an appearance but that didn’t stop her character’s journey. In fact, with season 5 ending with Laurel’s disappearance, her character does have a big role in season 6. Ever since the new season opened, all we have been seeing is Frank scouting heaven and earth to find Laurel and her baby, but to no avail. Finally, digging a little deeper and with Oliver’s help, Frank uncovers some disturbing facts which question Laurel’s intentions towards Annalise and her friends.

Frank lands at a safe house where he encounters Xavier (Laurel’s brother) instead. Xavier reveals information about an FBI informant digging up dirt on Annalise and K4 but he would spill more details only if Frank helps him find Laurel. He also shows Annalise’s bank statement revealing a huge amount of money deposit from Laurel, making us suspect her of utmost manipulation along with making us wonder if she knew where Laurel was.

'How to Get Away with Murder' season 6's big death might be Laurel Castillo, fear fans (ABC)

Moral of the story is that fans have not taken to this well enough. Having said that, it is not unnatural for fans to feel hateful about how Laurel's character is unraveling. Viewers have been sympathetic towards Laurel ever since she lost Wes and became a single mother, saving her child and herself from her corrupt father. Even after she disappeared, it has been all about her. And now, as we learn about the money deposit from her bank account to Annalise, it raises a serious question in our minds. Whether it is Frank’s deadly injuries, or the Keating gang falling apart, people are holding Laurel responsible and being hateful towards her. Like Nicky A@AJRazim tweets, “I can’t!!!!! Frank has to be OK!!!!! I really hate Laurel!!!!  #HTGAWM.” So does Bella J @tutuhottuhandle, with her bold comment, “LAUREL A *** PSYCHOPATH #HTGAWM”I t s s M i c h a e l G r e y @ItssMichaelGrey seemed genuinely upset and commented, “I swear laurel better not be up to some bulls*** #HTGAWM.”

Also, since we will never get to see Laurel in person anymore (since Souza is out of the show), we are wondering what end will her character meet? Is she really the one who will bring Annalise down or is she really a victim of unfortunate events? No matter what happens to her, the way her character’s story if evolving, fans are almost expecting a disappointing ending to Laurel Castillo.

‘How To Get Away With Murder’ airs on ABC, every Thursday at 9 pm/ 8c.
