Spoilers for Episode 11

We just found out who killed Asher. And it did not go down well with fans. For weeks we have been debating that it could have been his very own friends or even his family for that matter.

And now, it turns out that an FBI agent was behind the murder. The ending scenes clearly showed Sara Gordon aka FBI Agent Pollock picking up the fire poker from Connor-Oliver-Michaela's house and using it to kill Asher in front of his apartment.

Now, this raises a lot of questions among fans. They are not questioning the action anymore. At this point, it's clear to everyone why Asher could be killed. But what people are talking about is how deep is the conspiracy and that how much of this is the governor's doing.

One fan said, “That lady who killed Asher is in the FBI, but has ties to Xavier, who has ties to the Governor.  This is all the Governor.#HTGAWM."

For context, Governor Lynne Birkhead already had her animosity against Annalise Keating after Annalise won her class action suits against many government officials and slammed the system for trying innocent people.

Birkhead tried everything she could using her power n political influence to get Annalise off the cases, and even getting job offers dropped after she lost her university tenure.

And then, we also saw the governor meeting up with Xavier, which makes it clear that she has the Castillos in her pocket. Now, with FBI's agent (or perhaps a double agent) killing Asher and framing Annalise and her students, it makes it all easy for the Governor to get back at her.

Another Twitter fan commented, "Is the whole FBI working for the Castillos or just that woman, Sara Gordon? Did she infiltrate the FBI? What about Governor Birkhead? Is she in with the Castillos or is she using the FBI to take down Annalise? @petenowalk @violadavis so many questions. Exploding head #HTGAWM."

The question remains how far will this conspiracy go and what will it mean for Annalise and the Keating 5?

'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 6 airs every Thursday night at 10pm/9c on ABC.
