NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA: The premiere of 'The Curse of Oak Island' Season 11 is just around the corner, and according to Distractify, the cast members of the show are paid around $100,000 per episode.

Every season of the show has more than 20 episodes which means that the brothers, Rick and Marty Lagina, must have earned around $2 million each season. History's hit show has been on air since 2014.

In the show's forthcoming season, Rick and Marty Lagina will be seen trying to locate the buried treasure under Oak Island. The duo has dedicated their lives to solving the longtime mystery of Oak Island.

The million-dollar question is will the Lagina brothers be able to find the legendary treasure buried under the famous island in the upcoming season of the show?

In the past, Rick and Marty disclosed that they were responsible for financing their projects themselves.

While having a chat with Channel Guide, Rick said, "In every situation, it’s a financial risk [or] financial reward…”

He went on to say, “It’s a judgment call. If you feel like you can’t make progress, of course, then you have to either abandon or limit your activities. That’s basically the parameters under which we’re operating.”

Successful businessman Marty Lagina's net worth is a whopping $100 million, as per Celebrity Net Worth.

Marty founded Terra Energy, which he sold for $60 million.

Later, he invested his money in a wind energy business called Heritage Sustainable, which ended up becoming one of the largest wind producers in Michigan.

Lagina is also one of the producers of 'The Curse of Oak Island'. He also owns a winery called Mari Vineyards.

In the official trailer of the show which is packed with adrenaline-fueled moments, Rick and Marty can be seen pulling all the stops to find the buried treasure on Nova Scotia’s Oak Island. 

The trailer reveals that there is danger involved in the island's Garden Shaft. Some traces of gold were discovered there in the water last year, however, the investigations were brought to a halt due to the onset of winter.

Marty states that the Garden Shaft excavation “has been intensified, but some of the problems that everybody who has gone below ground here has encountered, well, we are now encountering them."
