LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Los Angeles' most popular criminal defense attorney is returning to your screens as Netflix gears up for another boost in their ratings with the second season of 'The Lincoln Lawyer'. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo reprises his role as Micky Haller, the smooth-talking lawyer who runs his law firm practice from the back seat of his Lincoln. The first season saw Mickey returning to practicing law with prosecutor ex-wife, Maggie (Neve Campbell), his other ex-wife and assistant, Lorna (Becki Newton), and Cisco, his friend and go-to investigator and Lorna’s current fiancé.
Mickey takes on the case of Trevor Elliot who was accused of killing his wife and business partner, Laura, while also spending his time in courtrooms, taking up small and petty cases. After Mickey recovers from a pill addiction, the onus of the cases at his friend Jerry’s law firm falls on him. When Jerry is murdered in the middle of Trevor Elliot's trial, Mickey finds it hard to understand Trevor’s true nature. The first season is centered around Trevor’s trial and takes 10 episodes to get to the bottom of the mystery. Laura’s murderer is finally revealed but the show ends on a cliffhanger when a tattooed man eyes Mickey from afar on the beach, signaling that danger is afoot as the hotshot lawyer gears up for another long legal battle in the second season.

Season 2 of the acclaimed Netflix legal drama ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ will have 10 full episodes. However, owing to Netflix’s recent policy of releasing a show in two separate parts to create more buzz and a word-of-mouth following, the second season of the series will be released in two parts this summer. Part 1 premieres on July 6, 2023, while Part 2 will follow suit on August 3, 2023. The first part release will have the first five episodes drop simultaneously while the second part will have the remaining five. We can also expect to have episode 5 end in some sort of cliffhanger to keep viewers pumped for Part 2.
